GREAT COFFEE, RESPONSIBLY

Hello!

This week, we'll not sharing any events.

But we'll definitely give you important information for you to get a safe good cup of coffee and for you to help small businesses sustain.

How can I drink a good coffee this week?

Last week, we've shared a couple of best practices you could follow in order to get your delicious cup of coffee:

If you are a "I-will-stay-home-until-it-ends" customer:
  • Buy an AeroPress or V60 + accessories online
  • Order bags of coffee from your local roasters
  • Or use food delivery apps serving coffee
If you are a "I-will-go-out-when-necessary" customer:
  • Buy an AeroPress or V60 + accessories from your favorite coffee shop
  • Buy a bag of coffee from your favorite coffee shop when needed
If you are a "Corona-will-not-affect-my-life" customer:
  • Go to your favorite coffee shop (but look if it is open) but
  • Try to avoid paying by cash
  • Make use of sanitizers or wash your hands often
  • Avoir making a high-five with your favorite barista
  • Don't stay too close from other customers
  • Know where to sneeze
For new home-baristas, you can find a lot of tutorials online, to make your coffee taste almost as good as in your local coffee shop.

If you have questions, feel free to send them to us. We'll gladly respond!

How to help coffee shops sustain?
(it works for all small businesses)

Small businesses will definitely suffer a lot from this crisis. However, there are many ways you could support them.

Buy a "gift card" or "voucher"
  • It will give them extra-cash, helping them pay their employees, utilities and rent.
  • You pay X RON now, that you can use when the situation gets better.
  • Some initiatives are being launched. In the meantime, you can also contact your favorite coffee shop or restaurant and ask if this could support them.
  • Offer these "gift cards" to your friends and family for their birthday or for other important occasions which deserve a present.
Ask them if they do home delivery:
  • Some places are on food delivery apps, but it might not be the case for everyone.
  • Ask your nearest coffee shop if they can do a coffee delivery.
Ask if they have perishable products in stock:
  • Grocery stores are making money, but in the meantime, many places have stocks of food which will soon expire.
  • Rather than buying from the grocery store, ask your local coffee shop if they have products you could buy for the next couple of days (milk, biscuits), before it expires.
Help them online:
  • Spend some of your time home to give them 5 stars reviews on Google or TripAdvisor.
  • Follow/like/share some of the stuff they post on social media.

BUCHAREST IS A SPECIALTY COFFEE CITY.

LET'S PROTECT IT TOGETHER.

In the meantime, stay safe!
