RSVPs will be given priority should the event approach capacity, but as long as we're under event capacity we will be letting walk up attendees in. If you don't have a ticket, your best bet is to arrive early (9pm) to ensure you get in!

#BOOM! Costume Ball for a Safe New Year’s Eve

Dress up in costume and join the FREE fun at West Hollywood’s 6th annual #BOOM! New Year’s Eve bash. This annual FREE glittering gala is the premiere alcohol- and drug-free New Year’s Eve party. Grab your friends, find a costume and come prepared to dance the night away with DJ Eddie X.

#BOOM! will be held from 8pm to 1 am Monday, December 31st at West Hollywood Park Auditorium. Choose from one of these costume themes: Glamour, Lady Gaga v. Madonna, Menage A Trio, Hot Mess and Military. Winners will be awarded a prize for every theme. Guests will enjoy face and body painting, a photobooth, midnight toast, food and non-alcoholic drinks, all at NO COST. Everyone 18 and up is welcome.

The costume themes are:

• Glamour: New Year’s Eve has always been a night of allure. Pull out your favorite Dior, Valentino, Gautier or any of your favorite courtier. Style, sophistication and grace should inspire you for this category. Sashay, Shante your way down the runway for the win.

• Military: Top Gun, A Few Good Men, GI Jane and Private Benjamin all inspire this category. Dress up in your favorite fatigue or dress blues and with your best military strut you may march home with the trophy.

• Ménage a Trio: Too shy to walk alone, three is no longer a crowd. Pick two of your favorite trudging buddies to compete in this category. The Supremes, The Three Stooges, Three Musketeers and Charlies Angels are all examples of famous trios.

• Lady Gaga vs Madonna: Which team are you on? Dress as either one of these iconic DIVAS and let the judges who reigns. Don’t let your “Poker Face” keep you from “Vogue”ing your way to the trophy.

• Hot Mess: Been there, done that. This category is dedicated to “what it was like”. Uniqueness, nerve and humiliation should be reflected in your costume. This is where demoralizing behavior becomes an asset. Just don’t hawk the trophy.
