You can't donate if
1) you were tattooed/pierced in the past 6 months
2) vaccination was done within 30 days ( covid/ Hepatitis B/ rabies vaccines)
3) alcohol consumed on the previous day
4) if you've had any blood borne infection
5)Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
6)Individuals who have undergone major dental procedures or general surgeries in the past 1 month.
7)Women who have had miscarriage in the past 6 months
8)Individuals who currently have asthma with active symptoms, and severe asthma patients.

Basic criteria:
-> Hemoglobin level- minimum 12.5g/dL
-> must be of 18-65 years old
->should weigh minimum 50Kg
->The time period between successive blood donations should be more than 3 months.
->Overall health- The donor must be fit and healthy, and should not be suffering from transmittable diseases.

COVID PLASMA DONATION: Must've gotten COVID and should have recovered 15 days back (might vary from case to case)

NOTE: As of 18 May 2021, plasma therapy has been declared redundant.
