This is my thirteenth year teaching. I have taught grades 1, 3, 5, 6, and now 4. Every grade has its pros and cons! I have taught many PD classes over the years, presenting in numerous schools, and continue to hone my teaching practice.
I am a firm believer in cooperative learning. I have my students seated in groups and love that they talk to each other and help one another. I love letting them talk to their peers since they are more likely to talk in a small group than a large one.

I attended college at Brigham Young University-Idaho and received my Bachelors in Elementary Education there. I have my ESL endorsement.
Teaching is my passion! I love exercising and being outdoors. I love chocolate and can't get enough of it to keep me going on those hard days. I am grateful to be entrusted with the learning of many sweet children and I love what I do!
