BlindSquare EVENT for Airports. Does this mean BlindSquare will now provide navigation inside the airports?
- This first announcement, May 2018, creates the foundation - the means to become familiar with BlindSquare with the value starting when you step outside and automatically connect to GPS satellites. From there, all the powers of BlindSquare are at your disposal.
Is there anything that BlindSquare will provide inside the airport?
- Yes, currently all BlindSquare Enabled Airports will have scheduled flight information available. When Apple’s indoor mapping is available and released by the airports for public use 3d tracking is a new BlindSquare feature. This announcement is pending, as are other announcements concerning new BlindSquare partnerships.
Will these features work on my licensed copy of BlindSquare?
- Yes!
How many Airports are BlindSquare Enabled?
- Well over 100, airport details can be found here.
Will this cost me anything?
- No.
Are there more Airport features, or even more airports “in the works”?
- Yes! BlindSquare Enabled Airports is a foundation, the base will grow as will features of benefit. The list of airports is already growing.
What happens if I download and start BlindSquare Event while not on Airport property?
- BlindSquare Event, when started outside of an enabled geography (described as the geofence) will work in demonstration mode, allowing the exploration of features by simulating any of several “tourist areas” around the globe. BlindSquare will automatically recognize enabled airports and, when started on airport grounds, will provide the 7-day access.
