American Red Cross: The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. www.redcross.org/volunteer

Armed Forces Heritage Museum: Preserve, Honor, and Educate the public on the history of the military in New Jersey and the surrounding region. www.afhmus.org

Burlington County Superior Court is actively recruiting volunteers for a variety of court based programs.  Volunteers have been working in the courts for decades.  Thousands of volunteers participate in the delivery of court services statewide, helping to resolve disputes justly for the people of New Jersey.  Court volunteers represent a broad cross-section of the community, from high school students helping other youth avoid delinquency to adults and seniors who greet and assist court users, mediate neighborhood disputes, and advocate for children in foster care. Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA): Children in foster care need your advocacy and support. Learn more about how you can become an advocate for children at www.casaMB.org.

Farmers Against Hunger: In our 25th year of service, Farmers Against Hunger connects healthy food from farms to families by working with volunteers to rescue surplus produce from New Jersey farms and wholesalers and deliver to hunger relief agencies, helping to reduce food insecurity as well as food waste. www.njagsociety.org

Girl Scouts of Central and Southern NJ, Inc.: has volunteer openings for troop and interest group leaders, and activity leaders for after school program, plus opportunities to work with adults in community cultivation, fund development, and service team support positions.   www.gscsnj.org

Habitat for Humanity: Putting faith into action, Habitat for Humanity of South Central New Jersey  brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.  www.HabitatSCNJ.org 

LifeTies, Inc. is a supportive network of professional staff and trained volunteers dedicated to creating programs for youth to overcome the effects of abuse, neglect or homelessness.  www.lifeties.org

Literacy NJ: Teach adults how to read, write or speak English. literacynj.org/burlington-county

New Jersey State House Tour Program: Volunteers provide a one-hour guided tour of the State House. Training will introduce you to the legislative process and the architecture of New Jersey's most historic building, the seat of New Jersey government.

O League: We provide educational, athletic, and community development opportunities for youth and adults. https://theopportunity.org/

Parents Anonymous: Parents Inc. is non-profit family strengthening agency who provides a 24 hour Family Helpline, Parent Support Groups and Parenting Workshops. www.pofnj.com 

Pinelands Family Success Center: Our FSC leads a collaborative effort to organize resources, supports and services to ensure the growth and development of families that will ultimately prevent child neglect and abuse. https://www.pembertonfsc.org/

Soles4Souls: At Soles4Souls, we turn unwanted shoes and clothing into opportunity, by keeping them from going to waste and putting them to good use – providing relief, creating jobs and empowering people to break the cycle of poverty. https://soles4souls.org/

Samaritan Life-Enhancing Care: Samaritan is a non-profit, non-sectarian, independent healthcare and hospice agency providing life-enhancing care, extraordinary compassion and professional expertise to help our patients, clients, and those who care about them, live their best life every day. www.SamaritanNJ.org

The Tender:  The Tender is a not-for-profit community, that provides a day center for seniors and a support group for their caregivers. www.TheTender.org 

Vegetarian Society of South Jersey: VSSJ offers opportunities to come together to discover the many benefits of a plant-based diet through education, outreach, and support for vegetarians, vegans, and those on their journey towards a plant-based diet. www.vssj.com
