The School of Media Studies - Mapúa University, in partnership with the Film Arts and Media Enthusiasts (FAME), proudly announces this year’s CINEMAPÚA finalists and official entries.

All submitted entries were screened last January 5-7 to select the Top 10 in each category: Collegiate; All Mapúans; and High School. A total of 30 selected short films will compete for Cardinal Best Film Awards (Gold, Silver & Bronze) per category, and for Special Cardinal Individual Film Awards per category during the week-long film festival on January 21-26, 2019 at the Intramuros campus. This annual event is one of the highlights of the celebration of Mapúa University’s 94th Founding Anniversary.

On its 17th year, CINEMAPÚA is getting bigger, and this year aside from the collegiate category, it introduces an additional set of quality film stories and excellent film productions from senior and junior high schools in the country.
