CAREER Amid The Holiday Bustle, FOCUS To Get More Done And Feel Less Stressed November 25, 2015  By Christi BowenVoice Actor The busiest time of year ... the holiday season. And we forget to enjoy it because there is so much to do! We turn to multitasking in the belief the we can get more done. But guess what? You're wrong. It's a proven fact that the human brain is NOT capable of multitasking. The prefrontal cortex can only perform one complex task at a time. Sure, we can listen to music while working or fold laundry and hold a conversation. But driving or writing or active listening ... nope, those take all of our focus. My gift to you this holiday season is the knowledge that you will get more done and feel less stressed when you FOCUS ON ONE TASK AT A TIME. Here are some tips:
