PROGRAM RULES
All participants need to understand all the rules set by the EdTech Hackathon secretariat as follows:-
1. Participants must be registered as UKM student and active in their studies.
2. Participants consist of undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
3. Participants must register in groups between 2 and 5 people per group.
4. Product concepts and prototypes innovated must meet the theme: Education Technology - Post COVID learning.
5. Imitation of an existing product may result in cancellation of participation.
6. Participants are given FOUR (4) weeks to complete a prototype that can be demonstrated during the final presentation.
7. Participants will learn FIVE (5) modules related to entrepreneurship and THREE (3) prototype tools that can be used to help in preparing and demonstration of prototype.
8. NINE (9) mentoring sessions will be provided throughout the program involving experts from various fields.
8. Participants must attend all FIVE (5) modules provided and choose at least THREE (3) mentoring sessions.
9. Participants can only use either Bahasa Malaysia or English during prototype presentation.
MENTORING
Participants will be given the opportunity to meet mentors virtually or face to face throughout the program following the schedule set by the secretariat

There are  THREE (3) types of mentorship
Mentoring Session – Technical clinic
Mentoring Session – Entrepreneurship clinic
Mentoring Session – Pitch clinic

There will be NINE (9) mentoring sessions available throughout the program and participants must attend at least THREE (3) mentoring sessions
PRESENTATION
Participants need to present their prototype innovation during pre-judging round and in final presentation.

1. Pre -Judging round (virtually live presentation) 20 minutes
- 10 minutes presentation & 10 minutes Q&A session

2. Final presentation (virtually hybrid presentation) 20 minutes
- 10 minute pre-recorded presentation + 10 minute live Q&A session

3. Participants must also prepare a 1-minute recorded pitch for promotional purpose during closing event

4. Both video recorded must be submit to secretariat on July 1, 2020 before 5.00 pm.
