Re: Advanced Intro to Zoom Modifiers

... slide time. Tilt uses zoom somehow. I don't know how rotate is related to zoom but, it appears to be affected by it as given by its effect upon modifiers affecting zoom. This tutorial "assumes" a zoom setting that applies to ALL LAYERS. You'll find that attaching a zoom setting to ...

Advanced Intro to Zoom Modifiers; Pre-v9

The Version 9 release of ProShow makes this treatment of modifiers irrelevant. It applies ONLY to ver 8 and earlier. Those versions of ProShow that had the Tilt function had a little problem. When Tilt is active, the modifier function was a linear value. ...

... purpose or function I want to use it for. Just because the box is for pan or blur or white point doesn't mean I have to use it for that purpose. Modifiers, in their current implementation, allow me the flexibility to repurpose the contents of any other box for my own purposes. A pickwick would ...

Re: Follow the Leader - Part 2

Joe, your explanation of the parent/child relationship went deep enough for me to now see what you're talking about. I've delved into modifiers with much help from Dale, learning from him how to use an invisible layer (which can be downright cool), but now I'm beginning to realize just how ...

...Using the right click menu system is not the same as the pickwhip system that AE uses, but it's certainly simpler to use than modifiers. I agree completely. Right click, drop down menu, checkbox, pickwhip.....the method doesn't really matter, but a nice simple way to parent and entire ...
