Finally You

This was a second chance/reunion story. Nydia and Manelik knew each other as children. Circumstances and misunderstandings tore them apart. As they work through their issues, their love returns. Nydia was so independent, trying to keep her head above water financially, hanging onto her family land. She tried to be nonchalant but was unsuccessful. Manelik was a bit arrogant and hard, until he started to realize that he was missing something. Their chemistry was hot. I enjoyed the story. I received an ARC of this story, and this is my unsolicited review.

After having read the prequel and getting just a little taste of Nydia and Mane, I was intrigued. This takes you on a wild ride of emotions giving us their history from when they were young and when they were both left broken hearted. There is a lot of angst but all throughout you can't help but feel their connection and their love, despite it all. I am in love with Luna Harbor now too and loved seeing so many other favorites as well as new characters.

This is my first time reading one of Claudia's books and I'm so in love with Luna Harbor, Manelik & Nydia. I read this book in record time because it drew me in right away even though I was a tad confused with the intro of so many characters that are part of a previous series. By the end of this book I felt like I could be friends with this crazy bunch. Mane & Nydia grew up together and promised to love each other forever. Their love couldn't overcome tragedy and they lost eachother for years. Claudia alludes to what happened to Nydia throughout most of the book but we don't find out until the last 10% what kept Mane away. Im more than a little sad that I didn't read any of the previous series featuring many of these characters so I would have more of the background leading up to this couple HEA. Now I'm going to have to read them!
