Here are the frugal fruity recipes I shared on Talk of the Town:

Easy Berry Stovetop Jam

The beauty of this stovetop jam is that it not only works with almost any fruit (fresh or frozen) you have in your house, but it serves as a base for some of my other fruity favorite recipes below! Get the full Easy Berry Stovetop Jam Recipe here.

Berry Simple Syrup

For every 1 cup of fruit, add 3 cups of water and boil for 20 minutes. Then puree in blender and pour back into pot after straining through a sieve. Add 1 cup of sugar and simmer until thickened. Store in the refrigerator and add to seltzer water (which I make in my Soda Stream) for flavored seltzer or add more for homemade soda.

Fruit Popsicles

After cooking fruit with sugar (or honey), puree to desired consistency and add to popsicle mold. You can also use fresh or frozen fruit pureed with apple juice or coconut water. For layered fruit popsicles like below, freeze each layer individually.

Fruit Ice Cubes

Drop individual berries (blueberries & raspberries work best)into individual ice cube tray molds then add water and freeze. They make a pretty and flavorful addition to any drink.

Berry Chocolate Chip Treats

These could quite possibly be the most simple, yet delicious, berry treats of all! Take chocolate chips and place them inside of raspberries or hollow out strawberries, fill with whip cream, and then place a chocolate chip in the middle.
