Gyaan Ghar's 10th Anniversary

Gyaan Ghar is a learning center located in Ludhiana, Punjab that I founded in 2008 to provide free after-school academic support to 20 students from low-income backgrounds in my grandparents' neighborhood in New Lajpat Nagar, Ludhiana.
Today, the program has 65 students and includes classes in visual art, music, dance, theater, public speaking, computer skills, and environmental education. The year 2018 will mark our 10th anniversary and we hope to be able to host an awards ceremony and talent show to look back on the students' successes over the last 10 years.
Historically, funding for Gyaan Ghar has come from classmates, teachers, and family friends of Flint Hill, the high school that I attended. However, this funding has stopped, and Gyaan Ghar is looking for support from its community -- both locally and around the world -- to continue running.
