The dynamic duo of Haney & Hayes is up to their brilliant tricks again with Island Heir, and it was an emotional journey for real. It all starts with Autumn Elizabeth Ashley being left at the alter, and boy was I as angry as she was at that fact. She ends up going on her Honeymoon with her bestie, Nadia, and tries to stay drunk but Nadia isn't having it. Autumn hooks up with a hottie, but is gone before he wakes up the next day, and they don't come in contact for a long time when fate steps in. Dalian was that hookup, and when they met, he hadn't achieved his dreams yet, but when fate bring them together again, he had. This story was seriously trying to kill me dead with the emotional upheaval, but when the twists start coming, HOLY HELL! Loud f-bomb after f-bomb after f-bomb dropping was taking over my mouth. Island Heir was a fantastic story with a fate kicker that I couldn't get enough of, and you won't either. So, hit those one click buttons immediately, because you definitely CANNOT go wrong with this dynamic writing duo! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Beth was left at the alter by her fiancé, Nadia talked her into going the honeymoon cruise since it was already paid for. Dalian and Beth had a one night stand, when he woke up Beth was gone with his shirt and then he saw that the last condom had broken he tried to catch her before the cruise ship left the harbor. But he was too late and he just knew that she was pregnant since they had exchanged real names he didn’t know where to start. Then 10 years later they meet again on the Disney cruise and when he sees Kaleb he knows that is his son, Ian told Beth that he wanted to see his son and be in his life. They finally got together and became a family even with the problems that the fathers had caused when they were younger. They found out that what happened to them when children by their fathers was wrong and that Beth’s father bribed her fiancé and also threatened to kill Beth. Her father said that to her best friend since kindergarten that Nadia had to leave if she didn’t, she would loose everything that she had. But then he killed himself when Beth was pressing charges. They had a double wedding and all of them stayed together and had great lives too!

Between these two Authors, you get such good reading. I mean on their own great reading. This one had four characters & it was amazing. Main characters were Autumn & Dalian. Autumn was stood up at the alter so she & her best friend Nadia went on what would have been her honeymoon. Instead of sulking, she let her hair down & found herself an Island Boy. Things happened and 10 years later Autumn and Nadia find themselves in front of The Island Boy who is now a man named Dalian. Autumn never stopped thinking of him. Nadia feel in love with the nanny. David they both had for their kids. Now that Dalian has figured out that Autumn has a child. He realizes that her child is actually his child as well. Such a good story line. Both girls found out some shocking things about their past that these men help them through this hard time.

"IslandHeir" was quite an entertaining read with some very intriguing characters that will grip your
attention till the end, primarily as the story deals with Autumn Elizabeth Ashley [Beth] and Dalian Emeterio. I love how they met and were brought together once again that produces [ten years later] a son is introduced to his father. I enjoyed the best friend of Beth...Nadia Havarti. To have a BFF, like Nadia, was something in this day and age.
Be prepared for lots of drama with emotions that will lead to some unforeseen twists and turns as you are traveling through the read. Be ready for some hot detailed spicy, sex scenes as only these two authors can give so well to their readers.

The author went above and beyond for this storyline. The twists and surprises do not stop, even in the ending. Autumn and Dalian meet when she goes to the Bahamas on her honeymoon, minus her groom who stood her up at the altar. Her best friend Nadia is there to keep her going. Ten years later, they reconnect there, with a little extra. Nadia and David are also a huge part of the story. The parents are another whole story all together. The action and twists will not let you put the book down, and it is surprising how many directions this story goes before it is all done. Loved the variety of situations and how they were handled, even some past trauma closure. Very well done.

Autumn is jilted on her wedding day with a note that just says I'm sorry so she goes on the honeymoon cruise that was booked with her BFF Nadia instead of her no account almost-husband. Autumn meets Ian, an island boy, and they have sex on the beach. When Ian wakes up afterward, he finds a broken condom and tries to catch the ship before it leaves port. Fast forward 10 years. Autumn and Nadia are on another cruise with their two sons and two nannies, David and Jimmy. It is a Disney Cruise and it just so happens to dock in the same place as the time 10 years back, This story has plenty of action of the steamy kind and ends in a HEA. Highly recommended.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Autumn and Dalian meet while she is on what was supposed to be her honeymoon. They have an incredible chemistry which led to an unforgettable night together. They both gave nicknames and were never able to track the other down. Years later they are brought back together by fate. There is more to their story than he knew. Both characters deserved a second chance at happiness. Now they can have that happy future as a family.

loved it !!! love Ian and Beth... this is their story.. a fast paced drama... Beth/Elizabeth is left at the alter... she goes on her honeymoon with her best friend... she meets an island boy and spend the night on the beach... then, she has to get back... she never forgot him... Ian/Dalian wakes up alone.. he wants to contact her but...got nothing.. only her nickname... now, ten years later, she's back with her best friend and their sons... when he sees her son, he knows it's his son , too... can they have a second chance together ? what a story !!!.

After being left at the alter by her fiance Autumn goes on her honeymoon cruise with her best friend. Ending up pregnant was not her idea of fun. Ten years later while on another cruise with her best friend and their sons she runs into her sons father. This is a great love story about four people and their sons. The story hold your interest from the first page to the last. I look forward to reading more by this author.

I've read a lot of books written by J. Haney & S.I Hayes; they have done a great job at writing a good book; they are some of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books their books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

This starts out as a simple romance with Beth and Dalian who meet after she gets left at the alter and her and her friend take her honeymoon trip where she spends a hot night with him only to leave early the next morning. Fast forward ten years later and they meet again on a cruise where he finds out his is the father to her son. There are some twists and drama in this story which may or may not help Beth and Dalain decide if a real relationship is possible.

This is a well written book with strong characters and an entertaining story line. The authors had me hooked from start to finish reading Beth and Dalian's story. They do a great job developing the story and pulling you in with all the drama and emotions as well as the twists along the way. It's brought to life with descriptive and detailed scenes,flows fluidly and I enjoyed reading.

This story not only followed the budding relationship of Autumn and Dalian after ten years apart, but it also told the story of Nadia and David, and all the turmoil that unfolded with the two women’s families. There was a lot to unpack in this book, but the storyline was fast-paced and kept me intrigued and reading whenever I had a moment to escape to my reading nook.

Dalian has goals in life! He's made it!

Island Heir is the first book by both of these authors that I have read. I loved reading and following Autumn and Dalian's story. When they first meet, she is on her honeymoon with her best friend after the groom leaves her at the altar. They meet again ten years later with emotional twists and turns. I found the book a joy to read and look forward to reading more from both authors.

When they first meet, she is on her honeymoon with her best friend after the groom leaves her at the altar. They meet again ten years later with emotional twists and turns. An emotionally engaging story with drama and mystery. It was heartbreaking in the beginning. Emotionally satisfying by the end. The middle was steamy and surprising. I loved reading this book and I enjoyed the fact that I was emotionally engaged from the beginning.

So much diversity in this story.
Amazing read, I didn't want to put it down. The story moved along smoothly even with all the bumps along the way. The authors handle the unsavory fathers well, as well as other discriminations.

How did they include so many important things and still tell a story that captured you from the start?!!
