This was Fire! Laurelin Paige slays
First and foremost, the pun was intended. Second, and most importantly, Donovan MF Kincaid just exploded my panties! I love every single thing about him and this book was just the thing I needed to reignite my love affair with him and Sabrina.
Here’s what you need to know:
This book includes 4 shorts that give readers a view into the love lives of 4 different couple from the Dirty Fixed World. Obvi Donovan is my fave. See above re: explosion, but these were all super hot and very sweet.
As a fan of this series, it was so amazing to catch up with favorite characters from this world. I love when authors give us these snippets of life after the book. Preorder this RFN, if you're a fan of this universe!

Three novellas to give us a sneak peak into our favorite Dirty Filthy Rich couples and their Valentines date night. Plus one bonus novella.
I love these couples so it’s always fun to get more tidbits into their lives. Donovan is still my favorite. He’s a character like no other.
Dirty Filthy Valentine - Donovan and Sebrina.
Donovan brings Sebrina’s fantasy to life and I’m reminded by how much I love Donovan Kincaid! What a hot scene!
Filthy Valentine Fix - Nate and Trish
Out of all the couples, these two embodies the title of Dirty Filthy. I’ve never seen a declaration of love on Valentines quite like this.

She'd broken all her rules for this man, and he was as close to a boyfriend as she would have. Her feelings for him were difficult to label because she wasn't a woman who wanted to be tied down. She was living her best life, and wanted to keep things the same at all costs. They were lovers, and had an arrangement that works. Neither was clingy or talked too much about emotions. They lived for the weekends when they could explore, indulge, and have fun without commitments. They seemed to be on the same page, but Trish gets nervous when they attend the Open Door on Valentine's Day when declarations of love are often made. Will they ignore the customs of the special holiday, or give in to everything they are secretly feeling?

Brilliant Romances Set Beyond Boundaries, You'll Love these Tales
Shivers! I need to collect myself to write this review. Because it's true, this decadent valentine is filthy. And kinky. A page turner built on love and lust and it’s signature Laurelin. Sweet in every dirty lovely way.
The twist here, the sweet naught kink that reeeeally tied me up in knots? Is how ROMANTIC the stories are. Even in the midst of the lewdest, jaw dropping moments, the sensual intimate side of these stories gnaw at you, keeping you swiping for more.
They are brief, but that's a tempting part of the pleasure. Every scene, every sentence, every move is a need, and pulses the stories forward. It’s so freaking romantic. Hands down, the ONLY Dirty Valentine you need. Read alone, or aloud, take notes, stage a demonstration. I am smiling, I loved these stories.
In brief:
Donovan—that devil in a three piece suit, I was gobsmacked at his entrance, and he steals every last thing in Sabrina's tour de force erotic enticement of a valentine that pulses and grinds deep into the edges of the most taboo and forbidden fantasies. Dirty Sweet Valentine: And Other Filthy Tales of Love really lives up to its name in being a dirty, sweet, and filthy read, one that includes three short stories and one novelette that focus on four of Laurelin's couples - two of whom we already know, with the other two couples being characters' we're not that familiar with - on how it is they're celebrating Valentine's Day.
And given that the majority of the stories involved in this collection are ones that're set in the Dirty Universe, it's a guarantee that these stories aren't going to be all hearts and flowers, with cheesy grand gestures that'll leave you swooning. I mean, there'll be grand gestures all right, but in the dirty, kinky, filthy sense - ones that'll leave you breathless more than anything else.
It's everything you'd come to expect from Laurelin Paige, and I honestly just could not get enough of it. Each story is different in their own way; unique and unforgettable and just downright sexy, and I need to warn you now that this is going to be a looooong review, as below, I'll be rating each story separately and giving my own brief thoughts on how I liked each story, and all that it delivered.
So, let's begin shall we?
Dirty Filthy Valentine: Five Stars
Sabrina and Donovan
I absolutely adored this short story, and it is hands down my favourite story of this collection. Dirty Filthy Valentine is everything that is Donovan and Sabrina - it's unexpected, it's sexy, it's dirty and filthy, and it involves them acting out one hell of a roleplay that left me with a racing heart and breathless. Donovan's the hero who forgets Valentine's Day, expect he doesn't necessarily forget it - he just doesn't give it a second though as he isn't the kind of person to follow this social tradition, nor partake in it. But what he comes up with as a last minute gift for Sabrina?
Oh my Holy Lord I could not read this short story fast enough!
It was everything I hoped it'd be and so much more; Dirty Filthy Valentine left me wanting to put this collection down just so I could reread the Dirty Filthy Duet all over again; and I honestly feel like if you love Donovan and Sabrina and you want more of them in any way you can get, then you will not be disappointed with this short story.
Filthy Valentine Fix: Five Stars
Trish and Nate
Sexy. Seductive. Surprising. Filthy Valentine Fix fit Trish and Nate to a (Mistress) T.
Laurelin could not have written this short story for them any better than she has. I'll admit that I was a little hesitant to read this story at first, because whilst I am now more open-minded about the Open Door - which plays a huge part in this short story - and all that goes on there, Trish and Nate's kinks do still push me out of my comfort zone a little, and considering we don't get a lot of them, I haven't had the time to embrace it more. But that's also what made me push through my hesitations to dive right on in to this story - that we don't get enough of Trish and Nate, and I do want more of them because I do love them as a couple. So I started reading Filthy Valentine Fix...
And I absolutely loved it.
Trish doesn't want Nate to make a big deal about Valentine's Day, nor does she want him to make any declarations that could ruin what it is they have together. But Nate has a gift for Trish that he knows she'll love, and by the end of the night, it just may be Trish who makes a bigger declaration on this Valentine's night than Nate does. I feel like if you love these characters and have been craving to have more of them, then you will not be disappointed with this short story. I enjoyed it overall, and I so hope they get another story like this one in the future.

Amelia and Harrington
Now, Amelia and Harrington's story isn't actually a new read for me. If you don't know, Dirty Sweet Valentine was actually available in an anthology Laurelin participated in in 2019 called Be Mine. It was a limited release of Valentine stories with five other bestselling authors, and it was hands down one of my top favourite reads of 2019. I absolutely loved reading this short story then, and I love it still; it's a story that revolves around Amelia who we met in Sweet Fate, and all we really knew about her was that she works with Dylan Locke, and occasionally used to sleep with him.
In this short story though, we learn a bit more about her. More so, about the love that got away, yet comes back for this one Valentine's night.
I definitely want to see more of Amelia and Harrington, as Harrington isn't your typical Laurelin Paige hero. He's much more different to her business CEO characters that it's not even funny, yet him being so different to them is what has me craving for more from him, and more of a story for him and Amelia. They deserve more, and I so hope that this isn't the last we see of him - them - and that Laurelin gives them a story (that isn't short) of their own.
Cherry Popper: Four Stars
Chase and Kira
Like with Dirty Sweet Valentine, Cherry Popper isn't a new read for me. This is actually the third time I've read this novelette - first time I read it was when it was included in the Unwrapped anthology that was released back in 2013, and the second time was when Laurelin made it available on Radish. Since then though, this story has been re-edited so it's now told in first-person perspective rather than third, and with a new ending to make this story fit with this collections' Valentine's theme.
Besides those changes, it's still the fun and adorable romance that's steamy, more young NA than anything else, and has a bit of drama to it given that Chase is shocked to discover that Kira is Princess Cherry Saver, and is a part of a sorority that've made a vow to save their virginity. He's not shocked about her saving her virginity, but more so about the fact that he had a one-night stand with her months prior. The drama comes in though, when Chase considers exposing Kira on her deception - of saving her virginity when she doesn't even have it - to get a place on the college newspaper.
The Valentine's aspect mainly comes towards the end of this novelette, but it is overall a very enjoyable story, and is very different to the three short stories involved in this collection considering it's told entirely in Chase's POV, but more so (and as I've said), because it's more of a young NA than anything else. And that is why I'm rating this novelette four stars. Honestly, Cherry Popper just didn't feel like it belonged in this collection. I love that it was included, don't get me wrong about that, but it's so out of place next to the three previous short stories that're included in this collection, ones that're steamy and sexy and very, very kinky, that it's not even funny.
"Are you here for good?" It's the most important question, and somehow my mouth forms the words perfectly, shaping them into respectable dialogue.
His answer comes just as steady. "I'm here for tonight." - Dirty Sweet Valentine
Overall though, I really enjoyed this collection as a whole. I shaved off the .5 Star from my final rating because of my four star rating for Cherry Popper, but otherwise this entire collection was absolutely flawless. It's quick to read, and I devoured the whole thing in just a few short hours, and all in all, Dirty Sweet Valentine: And Other Filthy Tales of Love is an addictive, alluring, and sexy collection that you won't want to miss.

It was a limited release of Valentine stories with five other bestselling authors, and it was hands down one of my top favourite reads of 2019. I absolutely loved reading this short story then, and I love it still; it's a story that revolves around Amelia who we met in Sweet Fate, and all we really knew about her was that she works with Dylan Locke, and occasionally used to sleep with him.
In this short story though, we learn a bit more about her. More so, about the love that got away, yet comes back for this one Valentine's night.
I definitely want to see more of Amelia and Harrington, as Harrington isn't your typical Laurelin Paige hero. He's much more different to her business CEO characters that it's not even funny, yet him being so different to them is what has me craving for more from him, and more of a story for him and Amelia. They deserve more, and I so hope that this isn't the last we see of him - them - and that Laurelin gives them a story (that isn't short) of their own.

Chase and Kira
Like with Dirty Sweet Valentine, Cherry Popper isn't a new read for me. This is actually the third time I've read this novelette - first time I read it was when it was included in the Unwrapped anthology that was released back in 2013, and the second time was when Laurelin made it available on Radish. Since then though, this story has been re-edited so it's now told in first-person perspective rather than third, and with a new ending to make this story fit with this collections' Valentine's theme.
Besides those changes, it's still the fun and adorable romance that's steamy, more young NA than anything else, and has a bit of drama to it given that Chase is shocked to discover that Kira is Princess Cherry Saver, and is a part of a sorority that've made a vow to save their virginity. He's not shocked about her saving her virginity, but more so about the fact that he had a one-night stand with her months prior. The drama comes in though, when Chase considers exposing Kira on her deception - of saving her virginity when she doesn't even have it - to get a place on the college newspaper.
The Valentine's aspect mainly comes towards the end of this novelette, but it is overall a very enjoyable story, and is very different to the three short stories involved in this collection considering it's told entirely in Chase's POV, but more so (and as I've said), because it's more of a young NA than anything else. And that is why I'm rating this novelette four stars. Honestly, Cherry Popper just didn't feel like it belonged in this collection. I love that it was included, don't get me wrong about that, but it's so out of place next to the three previous short stories that're included in this collection, ones that're steamy and sexy and very, very kinky, that it's not even funny.
"Are you here for good?" It's the most important question, and somehow my mouth forms the words perfectly, shaping them into respectable dialogue.
His answer comes just as steady. "I'm here for tonight." - Dirty Sweet Valentine
Overall though, I really enjoyed this collection as a whole. I shaved off the .5 Star from my final rating because of my four star rating for Cherry Popper, but otherwise this entire collection was absolutely flawless. It's quick to read, and I devoured the whole thing in just a few short hours, and all in all, Dirty Sweet Valentine: And Other Filthy Tales of Love is an addictive, alluring, and sexy collection that you won't want to miss.

Oh my hotness! Dirty Sweet Valentine is all goodness and sexy. What a pleasure to read a collection of 4 short stories which follow 4 different couples centered around V Day (if you are familiar with L. Paige you know these awesome characters from the past).
My favorite is Dirty Filthy Valentine - When Donovan forgets Valentine’s Day, Sabrina spends the evening at the office, working. Until she realizes she’s not alone. Hands off - Donovan is ALL MINE. He was then and he is now. That man is some panty-melting hot and swoon-worthy. Sabrina thought Donovan forgot V-Day but she is about to get a surprise of her life (think office sex ) Holly Molly! That was something FILTHY! But really, all the stories are equally steamy, sexy, and completely addicting. It was really nice to revisit some of my favorite couples over the year. It was all too short of course. I feel like I should have gone back and re-read their stories 😊. It would not be a hardship – L. Paige’s books are well-written and seriously amazing. Over all, this was such an enjoyable, delicious read for me. Plenty of heat, pleasure and naughtiness - just in time for V Day ladies!

It was great catching up and getting a glimpse in to some of my favourite people and what they have been up to in this fun holiday romance collection.
Each story was steamy, hot, spicy and hard to put down. From role playing with Donovan and Sabrina (my personal favourite), to a night at the Open Door, there was so much to take in and appreciate that you will be spoilt for choice.
No matter how many times I read a book from MS.Paige I always know that I will enjoy the stories that she weaves.

I've always been one of those "ugh, seriously?" people when it comes to Valentine's Day. Laurelin Paige's collection of four SCORCHING HOT Valentine's Day-themed stories, however, turned my cold hard heart into a giant puddle of Cupidy goo.
First, Paige treats us to a reunion with two of my very favorite characters of hers, Donovan and Sabrina. If you've read their Dirty Filthy series, then you know that neither of them is the chocolates-and-flowers sort, yet here Sabrina worries. It appears Donovan forgot Valentine's Day, and she finds herself saddened and let down. But this is Donovan, after all, and nothing is ever as it appears where he's concerned. Let's just say that Laurelin Paige makes you squeeze your thighs so tightly, you leave bruises. I love Donovan Kincaid. And I love how he is so unashamably himself. He loves Sabrina entirely on his terms, but it's a love that knows--and wants--to make her happy.
The next delight features Nate and Trish, a couple whose interests are almost as singular as Donovan and Sabrina's. Trish, ever prickly, can't decide what she wants. Is it to love Nate? Keep their relationship as-is? The sexy times in this book are FABULOUS, but I enjoyed the dynamic between them even more. Nate lets Trish be Trish, and don't we all want someone gives us that freedom?
"Dirty Sweet Valentine" embraces a different tone. Amelia, whom you met in Dylan's series (she works with him), loves a man unavailable to her. When Laurelin Paige lets them share a night together, it feels bittersweet, yes, but also a bit hopeful. I want more from Amelia. More, more, more.
And, finally, Paige includes a short story she co-wrote with Kayti McGee and previously published as part of a sampler. "Cherry Popper" is a DELIGHT. Chase Matthews, dear readers, will make you smile, if not outright laugh out loud. I felt like a pre-teen fangirl as I read his story.
So now you must pardon me while I go find a heart-shaped box of chocolates. Laurelin Paige made me a believer in Valentine's Day.

This novella delievered on everything it promised, Dirty Sweet Valentine's Day tales! That packed All the heat and feels you expected them too! All these stories was well written and made for a fast enjoyable read. I love holiday based stories and this one set the perfect mood for Valentine's. I was so excited to get some sexy extra scenes with some of my favorite character's from the Dirty and Fixed Universe. To be honest I NEVER say no to more Donovan *sighs*. There was even a new couple I didn't know. And as promised I did not need to read their book to enjoy their Valentine tale! The author offered enough background and feels it was the perfect standalone. If anything it made me want to read more of their story!

While each of these 'dirty' short stories can be read as standalone's, they are all a part of Laurelin Paige's 'Dirty' and 'Fixed' Universe. (All except for the last story that is written with Kayti McGee.) The stories are little bonus's to their original books. All revolving around Valentines Day, of course, given the title of the book! :D They are in fact, steamy and dirty, as you would expect. Obviously if you've read the original books these characters are in, you will appreciate these short stories a little more, but it isn't necessary in order to follow. This is a quick read. It's well written, given the length of each story. Just getting enough info/background to understand the characters and their behaviors. Suitable for mature readers.

I loved seeing little glimpses into some familiar characters and seeing some fire in some new couples. My favorite couple featured was Donovan and Sabrina. They are fire incarnate.

These incredibly steamy romances all center around Valentine’s Day. Each story features a different couple we’ve already met in previous books, apart from the bonus story included at the end. This collection explores the uniqueness between each couple and shows how love and affection is portrayed and expressed differently, but no less meaningful. My personal favorite is Dirty Filthy Valentine because – one word – Donovan. Swoon!
They are all very highly entertaining and can be enjoyed separately from their previous books. But really, you should want to read those books because they are utterly fantastic! Dirty Sweet Valentine is the perfect Valentine’s Day collection for anyone who loves Laurelin Paige’s stories. This collection is STEAMY, sweet and pure FIRE. It is a collection of 4 short stories and each of them will have you fanning yourself from the very first page to the very last.
Dirty Filthy Valentine is more Donovan and Sabrina, who are probably one of the top Laurelin Paige couples. Their chemistry continues to explode off the pages even after all these years. Donovan and Sabrina celebrate Valentine’s Day in way that is completely perfect for them.
Filthy Valentine Fix is Nathan and Trish were previously introduced in Dirty Filthy Fix and they are a great crossover of the two different worlds. Their story is romantic in a way that may seem odd to people, but it is so perfect for these two.
Dirty Sweet Valentine are two newer Laurelin Paige characters, though Amelia was a secondary character in the Dirty Sweet Duet. I loved this story and completely fell in love with the little tease we got of Amelia and Harrington. I truly hope there is more of them in future.
Cherry Popper was a super fun and sweet novella. Chase and Kira were two loveable characters and I couldn’t get enough of them.

Dirty Sweet Valentine are two newer Laurelin Paige characters, though Amelia was a secondary character in the Dirty Sweet Duet. I loved this story and completely fell in love with the little tease we got of Amelia and Harrington. I truly hope there is more of them in future.
Cherry Popper was a super fun and sweet novella. Chase and Kira were two loveable characters and I couldn’t get enough of them.

I love Donovan Kincaid! I love him even more for knowing exactly what Sabrina needs! They are kinky as all get out and sweet baby Jesus, I was all sorts of hot and bothered reading this little story. It left me wanting more!

Speaking of kinky, let's not forget Nathan and Trish. Their kind of kink doesn't do it for me, but there is something so romantic about Nathan's declaration to Trish at The Open Door party. I really love that he found his own way to show her he loves her that didn't scare her away.

What a perfect assortment of Valentine’s Day morsels this collection is by Laurelin Paige! Each story unique and containing varying degrees of HOT, my fingers found themselves in a frenzied state to get through each one. I absolutely LOVED the different levels of love, sensuousness, and angst between each couple. While Donovan and Sabrina provide a nostalgic dip back into their massively steamy romance, Harrington and Amelia introduce us to their erotically, trepidatious relationship; and Chase and Kira remind us of the innocence and excitement of a first love. These stories are so different and really showcase Laurelin Paige’s ability to grasp at a whole slew of different emotions. And what a truly superb way to even be introduced to her writing! Whether you’re new to her writing or a long-standing fan, this is definitely one for you to pick up.

It was fun to return to the Dirty universe and see how the characters celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Dirty Filthy Valentine - sexy times with Sabrina and Donovan and doing Valentine's Day in Donovan's style. He's still my favorite guy.
Filthy Valentine Fix - Trish and Nate are back at the Open Door and I've always loved how Nate gives Trish her space without crowding her because that's what she needs. But maybe Trish has decided that being surrounded by Nate isn't so bad after all.
Dirty Sweet Valentine - Amy is Amelia from Sweet Fate, she works with Dylan Locke in London. She's never done serious relationships before, only casual flings because she cannot commit to anyone, especially emotionally. And Harrington Steele is the reason why. Really enjoyed this snippet of 2 people who belong together but their lives took them in different directions because their hearts have always been joined, Valentine's Day or not.

Thoroughly enjoyable, steamy, sweet, sexy Valentine's Day stories? Yes, please! Except for one, this book has short Valentine's Day stories involving characters from the author's "Dirty" and "Fixed" Universe. It was fun to actually recognize the characters from the prior books I've read, but totally not necessary to have read those books to enjoy this one. The stories are dirty and sweet, just like the title says. They're a short read, with each story grabbing your attention and getting right to the steamy, sexy point. I'm all into the Valentine's Day mood now! If you want to get into the mood too, grab your copy and enjoy!

I love the short stories about favorite characters from other books and series! Laurelin Paige roughs it up with Donovan and Sabrina. They role played, and it could bring trigger warnings for some. Story two includes Nate and Trisha doing their thing at the Open Door. This one is super steamy. Harrington Stele and Amelia have a short quick night with a promise of more later. It ends with a college students Chase Mathews and Kira having a connection in a bar. She is part of the Cherry Popper group promoting virginity. He wants to write a piece for the college newspaper. It is sweet and steamy. Kayti McGee co-wrote this one with Laurelin.
