Ruthless Bishop

THEA
One wrong move and it’s over.

I was invisible until I wasn’t.

One mistyped number became the catalyst to my hell on earth when I accidentally sent a risqué photo to the blackmail king of Silver Lake High. Now Connor Bishop holds it as a bargaining chip over my head. I’ve become his doll, at his mercy in a corrupt castle.

Better do as he says or else, or else, or else…

His thumb is on the send button every time I try to buck his command. Can I survive a private photo going viral instead of living this life of torment?

It’s not right. Maybe it’s time his castle burns down.

CONNOR
Secrets and favors built my throne.

Meek. Shy. Wholesome.

Thea Kennedy was picture-perfect innocence until she wasn’t. The unexpected photo is the juiciest secret to land in my lap in a while. Who knew she was hiding luscious curves under frumpy sweaters?

With one racy selfie, Thea stepped into my world, where I control the board. I’ll trap the little mouse and won’t let her escape the depraved kingdom I built.

But there are darker monsters than me lurking in the shadows. They want to take a bite out of my little mouse. I don’t like sharing what’s mine.

Warning: Ruthless Bishop is a dark new adult high school bully romance intended for mature readers. This book is part of a series but can be enjoyed as a standalone. The Sinners and Saints series boys are all devilish antiheroes brought to their knees by a spitfire heroine, so if you love enemies-to-lovers and hate-to-love type stories, you’re in the right place. This mature new adult romance contains dubious situations, bullying, blackmail, stalking, a predator, crude language, and intense sexual/violent content that some readers might find triggering or offensive. Please proceed with caution.

I'm going to try to keep my review short for once, cause 3 stars reviews are literally the worse to write. They belong in the 'meh-not-the-worst-but-not-the-best-either'-category. These books aren't usually very memorale to me, so I don't have much to say about it.

Ruthless Bishop is about Thea Kennedy (h) and Connor Bishop (H). The side characters from Tempting Devil. The storylines for Ruthless Bishop and Tempting Devil overlap and start in the similar timeframe.

↳ ✧ ASKING THE HARD-HITTING QUESTIONS FIRST

First and foremost, one question that plagued my mind is why do the guys on the Wicked Saint and Tempting Devil covers look like they've almost reached their 30s, while it looks like the guy on Ruthless Bishop had his 15th birthday yesterday?

↳ ✧  THE PLOT  ✧

Thea is sending a very explicit photo to the wrong number aka Connor and they starting to sext each other without knowing the other person's identity or rather Thea thinks she's flirting with some lifeguard dude named Wyatt. When Connor finds out that it's the shy, nerdy girl at school who's sexting him, he uses it to his advantage as the blackmail king he is known for. His mother who is campaining to be the next senator wants Connor to bring a date to the next charity she's hosting. So what does every normal guy do? Of course, goes and blackmails the girl next door who's been unknowningly flirting with him to be his ✧ girlfriend ✧ So the whirlwind that is fake-dating begins…

↳ ✧  THE MAIN CHARACTERS  ✧

Can I just say that these people at Silver Lake High have very unstable homes? As a result Thea and Connor find a home in each other *cough okay that was extremly corny. This review reached a level of corniness it should have never reached cough*

Thea is living a double life. On one hand she's the shy nerd at school everyone ignores and who hides under a lot of ill-fitting clothes. On the other hand she's seeking attention on the internet. When Thea and Connor's ways cross, he allows her to let her wild side roam free, while she makes him feeling less lonely and cared for.

While their relationship didn't start on the best terms, it slowly develops into something real and Thea and Connor were cute together. That's it. That's all I can say about their relationship. That it was cute. The sun and moon references were adorable too.

↳ ✧  THE SIDE CHARACTERS  ✧

Devlinblair are getting their own category, cause only the best for my star tattoos babies! It was interesting to see Devlin and Blair's romance from someone else's perspective. What I really appreciate is that Veronica Eden stays with the star metaphors when it comes to Devlinblair. Even when Thea or Connor refer to Devlinblair they use star analogies. It's really fitting, I mean I'm not biased or anything, but Blair and Devlin are the shining ✧ stars ✧ of this series and everyone should know.

Don't forget to read the ✧ bonus epilogue ✧ at the end of the book. Thank you @niteskycs for telling me bout it! It's prob my favorite scene of the whole book. Devlinblair are sooo cute <3

#2 Tempting Devil ↠ 4 stars
#3 Ruthless Bishop ↠ 2.75-3 stars

Bishop takes Queen!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 👑👑👑👑👑
World building: 🏰🏰🏰🏰
Character development: 💀💀💀💀💀

The setting: The upscale neighborhood in Ridgeview where the main characters are next door neighbors and Silver Lake High School.

The Hero: Connor Bishop – Son of the Principal and the Town Councilwoman who is running for re-election. Connor is one of the two “Kings” of the school, along with Devlin from Tempting Devil (book 2). Connor wants to get out of his house and away from his broken family. In order to get out, he has become the blackmail king of the school. He has files on just about everyone and is known to use them when he doesn’t get what he wants.

The heroine: Thea Kennedy – The invisible girl. Thea grew up under the thumb of her mother who is an extremely strict, ultra conservative man-hater. Her father is largely absent since he travels for work. Thea has had self-image issues in the past due to her strict and very negative mother. When she was younger she sought attention from readers of an online blog about herself which she hid from her mother. Thea dresses in clothes a few sizes too big and bulky sweaters, but dreams of becoming more self-confident and able to stand up for herself.

The love story: In a daring move for Thea, she sends a risqué picture of herself to a guy she had a light flirtation with over the summer. However, the text goes to her neighbor Connor instead of the guy she intended. Connor is intrigued by what Thea has been hiding under her bulky clothes, but also sees it as a chance to get blackmail evidence on Thea.

Connor blackmails Thea into becoming his fake girlfriend and doesn’t believe that Thea is as good and sweet as she appears. Connor’s home life and being the blackmail king have taught him that everyone is hiding something. He has trust issues and an anger management problem. He sees a court ordered therapist for his anger. He quickly becomes very protective of Thea, despite those issues.

The multiple storylines in this book all dovetailed together to fit neatly into the romance between Connor and Thea. The romance was hot from the start, but they also grew to like each other naturally. Some of the imagery was dark in this book, but I liked that the overall theme was bright. Imagery like black hearts, crowns, crows and skulls were all mentioned. Though also things like sunshine and sunbeams.

Thea bakes whenever she feels anxious or troubled. She works out her issues while kneading dough. She wants to someday own a bakery. So Connor is often describing how she smells like sugar treats especially after she has been baking. I thought that was nice and made Thea seem all the more wholesome.

There were great supporting characters in this book and the author, Veronica Eden started setting up the background for the next book. Devlin and Blair from Tempting Devil played big roles in this book which takes place around the same time period as that story. Some of the things that happened between Devlin and Clair in Tempting Devil were told in this book from a new perspective and it was nice to get a different point of view.

Thea’s best friend Maisy Landry will be the heroine in the next book. Her and her older brother, Holden once had a friend who moved away and now he is back, but he is a huge jerk to Maisy. He is a bad boy named Fox Wilder and Connor calls him “a punk with a leather jacket, messy dark hair, and a mean glint in his eyes” and nobody really knows much about him. So that should be a good one.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

ruthless bishop follows connor bishop (devlin's best friend and blackmail king) and thea kennedy ("shy", nerdy girl) who we got glimpses of during tempting devil. overall i felt like this was a really cute addition to the sinners and saints series but the strong points revolved around the friendships between some characters, and individual character moments.

𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀
- devlin and connor's friendship !!! we see so much more if it in ruthless bishop than we did in tempting devil and it's amazing. i love how they always support each other and have each other's back and are genuinely affectionate (not to mention hilarious)
- thea's baking addiction is so cute
- connor implementing things he's learned in therapy
- the texting trope
- connor's secret hobby/passion ... unexpected but i loved it
- bishopblairdevlin being the trio i never knew i needed
- the epilogues + bonus extended epilogue ... they were SO perfect.

↬ the hints of book 4's couple ... i'm really looking forward to them because their trope is angsty and there's definitely going to be lots of drama

𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐍𝐎𝐖 ...
special mention to devlinblair who are probably one of my favourite na couples of all time. they were sooooo cute in this book, it's worth reading for the devlinblair crumbs alone because i loved seeing them from bishopthea's pov. i'm really impressed with the continuity in their characters throughout the 3 books because they didn't do or say anything ooc (which is a worry i usually have about established characters making an appearance in other books). and devlin in my opinion is the best male character veronica has written, all his scenes here were so good.

and the bonus extended epilogue ??? had one of the cutest devlinblair scenes of the entire series i seriously loved it so much.

I mean Connor and Thea were cute but I felt like they got together too quickly or caught feelings for each other too quickly. Like maybe a little background about them before the whole sex chat would have made their relationship more understandable for me.

I liked how Thea was a spit fire 😂😂

“Please, I can drive myself. You humiliated me yesterday in front of your friends and made fun of my sweater, now you’re holding my hand like you’re sweet?” I yank my hand free and tuck it beneath my thigh so he can’t get at it. I smooth my green plaid uniform skirt with my other hand, then prop my elbow against the door, resting my head in my palm. “You’re still not forgiven. I’m only here because you’re blackmailing me. I wouldn’t come near you otherwise.”

Buuuut Connor is supposed to be the blackmail king but all I saw from that start was a boy pussy whipped soooooooo

“I’m waiting.”
“It won’t change anything.” His brows draw together. “You’re still on the hook, or I’ll start sending out your photos. I’m serious, Thea. I’m not a nice guy and I will hurt you if you cross me.”
“You can continue as planned. After you give me a good apology. Then I’ll help you.” I hesitate, licking my lips, debating if it helps my case at all to tell him. “I would’ve, you know. Helped you. You didn’t have to use any leverage, just asked and I would’ve.”

“Why do I keep letting her manipulate me when I’m supposed to be holding a guillotine over her head? This girl…
She’s shredding my rep.”

description

Spoilers Ahead!

Let’s talk about the whole teacher scandal. I mean I called it from the start but what was surprising to me was Thea’s reaction 😂😂😂😂

“You had no right to worm your way into my secrets without my permission. Your jealousy of Mr. Coleman is out of control. You’ve been obsessed with him for months.” I give a forceful shake of my head as I grasp at straws, unable to believe. “You could’ve fabricated photos to get him fired because you don’t like him.”

So your boyfriend just told you that your teacher is a predator with PROOF and all you can think about right now is that CONNOR hacked into your computer and went through your blog without your permission.....

Was I the only one who found that entire scene hilarious?

”Thea, I’d wait until the end of time for you. But I need you to know you’re it for me. There’s no one but you.”
— here I go again, a sucker for cheesy lines😭

I think DevlinBlair will stay as my faves in this series (they just have that special spark I love seeing within couples 😭), but I honestly enjoyed Bishop and Thea’s romance as well! I loved how their relationship flowed naturally from him blackmailing her, leading them to fake dating, but slowly developed feelings for one another. 🥺 Once they became an actual couple, they were so cute! 🙈 the whole also, my only complaint about Bishop was but, aside from that, I loved him as a hero. 💖

okay is it just me who kinda wants to see stories about those four “imposter” agents/hackers who appeared towards the end?? idk if they were supposed to be relevant or just for the sake of that storyline, but I was intrigued by them lmaoo. I have this one theory that, anyways, I can’t wait for Wilder/Maisy’s book! 😌

" You make me feel like the moon, desperate to chase the sun. You're all i want to look at, sunshine.

All i want to catch "

I don't even know where to begin .

I'm still riding that rollercoaster of emotions that won't go away since i started reading this book.

Bishop gained in a few pages a special spot between my book-boyfriends .

He is the king of blackmailing , holding secrets against everyone in the city . His hacking skills made him a very sexy nerd .

He thought that secrets were power , that he could have everything and everyone doing whatever he wanted . But he forgot one important thing : humans' behavior is unpredictable , in particular Thea's .

Thea

His invisible ,insecure, nerd neighbor

The one he had always made fun about .

And now for a small mistake she's at the blackmail king mercy , with no way out.

"I was invisible until I wasn't "

She sent accidentally a risqué photo to the wrong number , falling in the wolf 's trap .

She has always struggled with the acceptance of her body and self-confidence . In the eyes of everyone she was the good girl, the good student, the good daughter .

But under all that she just wanted to be accepted and seen for who she really was .

Now she was in Connor Bishop 's radar , there was no more hiding . She thought this was the worst thing that could ever happen to her , but maybe Connor was her way out from the dark hole she was hiding in .

" The girl i was never supposed to have in the first place. The one I'd never noticed ."

He made her find her confidence, the courage to step out of her confort zone, and finally live.

And at the same time she made him see that you don't need blackmailing to hold someone interest .

During this book we saw a real growth and maturation from Bishop . He learned one of the most important thing: how to love and be loved by the right person .

The chemistry and the feelings between Thea and Connor were flying all around the pages .

There were some pretty sweet scenes balanced by some very hot and sexy scenes .

One of the things i liked the most was how he cared so much about Thea's safety , but also his way of pulling out of nowhere the most sweet words ever .

"There are darker monsters than me lurking in the shadows"

Yeah, there also was an interesting plot twist . I liked it because shows an important aspect of our life's : the dangerous things that can hide in the internet

I think i'm definitely hooked .It was different from the previous books in the series , but in a really good way .

The friendship between Devlin and Bishop was something else , i loved it .

And that EPILOGUE was EVERYTHING

I'm not gonna spoiler anything but you should get ready. This book will turn your world and emotions upside down , without apologies .

I gave it 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can't wait for all of you to read it !!!

After Tempting Devil by this author I did have high expectations. But still I was keeping in mind that she wrote something like Wicked Saint...

This book fell flat for me. I cannot say I liked the heroine a lot or disliked her for that matter and the same goes for the hero.
I admired that she was able to stand up for herself and had the courage to defend the bullied ones and generally had a good personality. Though I cannot say I cared about her. It was as though my mind liked her but left me unimpressed on the emotional level...

I thought some of her actions were plain stupid. Like sending a guy you barely know intimate photos (at her present age and state of maturity) , how she trusted Bishop even after he started blackmailing her. Clearly we know he's good and all but idk🙄

I think this issue (sharing extremely personal info on the social net) was addressed not to my liking. We have a bad guy here and via him the author seems to convey the message that this sharing is dangerous (and it really is as suggests a great number of cyber bullying cases). And then we have the hero, Bishop, who turns out to be the person she can fully trust according to the story's logic.

Idk, when girls do that I really feel worried and uncomfortable even when it's just a book where it happens... The world is so cruel sometimes and in real life the "good" and "bad" kind is not that easy to distinguish

In general, I think it wasn't angsty and intense enough for me. Just a good story. I would say sweet love story (despite some blackmail in the beginning) that doesn't keep you on the edge of the seat imo

Baby
/ˈbeɪbi/

noun

1. A very young child.
2. Being soft, cute, adorable, sweet, lovable.
3. Thea Kennedy and Connor Bishop.

Sending a racy text to the wrong number can be embarrassing, but when said wrong number belongs to the king of blackmail, Connor Bishop? Thea Kennedy should know. The third installment in the Sinners and Saints series brings a soft and passionate romance along with a bit of suspense surrounding the lives of these main characters.

⇢ Thea Kennedy. I LOVE HER! she was the definition of soft. At the beginning and from the previous book, Thea was portrayed as a shy and nerdy girl and she was that, but she also had a strong personality when necessary standing up for herself and her ideas. She was persistent, determined, smart, kind and so brave. Since her teens she went through a lot and I loved seeing how her reasoning changed over the years and how she gave herself pep talks. Also, her sunny personality and obsession with baking... I think this is the trait of all my favorite characters so I clearly have a type 💛.

⇢ Connor Bishop. He was an acquired taste. At first I wasn't really sure about him because he seemed to be like every NA character up to now, but after a while I could see that he had a lot of things going on in his environment and he wasn't your typical popular athlete, he didn't use his problems as an excuse to act like an idiot and tried to improve himself from the start. He was funny, smart and sweet.

I really liked the dynamics between these two. They started their relationship in a very passionate way, but they were also super sweet and supportive of each other.

Also, another of my favorite things was the friendship. In this book we could see more of the relationship between Bishop and Devlin (and Blair, thanks for those moments), and I love how they knew what was happening in each other's life and always had each other's backs. And there's also the friendship between Thea and Maisy, which I hope we can see more of it!

As for the plot, I'm only gonna say one thing...
description

And don't make me start talking about the epilogue AND THE EXTENDED EPILOGUE. Ugh, literally what dreams are made of for me. Overall, I enjoyed and loved this book SO MUCH, so Veronica Eden did it again. And those little glimpses of book #4... girl I can't wait for the drama!

🖥😑💀 Time of Death @55% 🖥😑💀

"You blackmailed and bullied me, and I still like you, because under all that bravado for your reputation, you’re hiding the guy you really are.”

See this is why I don't usually update my currently reading shelf (for example if you click this link it will say 0 when i am in fact always reading something). I tend to have the attention span of a nervous squirrel and I have this tendency to read something until about 50% and then after that. . .ehhhhhh🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Ruthless Bishop's ugly ass cover has been taunting me every time I've logged into Goodreads, so I think it's time for me to admit to myself that I will not be finishing this book. If you want an actually finished review check out Phoung's review . Her comments on the cover are ✨🥇 pure gold ✨🥇.

💀✨🖤 My thoughts on the first 50ish% of this book :/ 💀✨🖤

↪ I think half of the reason I ended up not finishing Ruthless Bishop was because it had the hard task of following up Tempting Devil . I knew within the first few chapters this was not going to a bully romance I was into. As I've stated countless times it is a very hit-or-miss genre for me. Plus I mean how do you follow up 💖✨ Devlin and Blair 💖✨

HOWEVER, my biggest reason for saying and that's the just right place to stop is probably because of how. . . . creepy I found Connor Bishop to be. Yeah I can safely say if I end up thinking a hero is creepy I'm just not going to be invested for the rest of the book. Now, if you guys found Connor to be swoony and sexy then THAT'S OKAY! I completely understand and I support you 100%. Honestly, I'm not even sure why I found Connor to be creepy because I've read a ton of romance novels and there have been some *clears throat* questionable heroes that I've gone nuts over.

💀✨🖤 Reasons why I thought Connor Bishop was a creepy creeper who creeps! 💀✨🖤

😑❤ 1. The whole mistaken identity thing. Connor and I immediately got off to a bad start right from the beginning. Thea gets thrown into Connors orbit when she mistakenly sends him a sexy photo thinking he's someone else. At first he doesn't realize that she intended that photo for someone else (but i mean my man was willing to just start sexting with some random chick cause she was hot. . .teenage boys amiright). However, within that first sexting session he realizes that she has no idea who he is:

Now things click into place with the blood flow returning to my brain. This is all a case of mistaken identity. She texted the wrong number. Whoever this Wyatt guy is, he's not me. . .

And instead of saying anything he just decides to keep up the charade:

It's time for some revenge for what that woman did, sticking her nose where it didn't belong.

This just really rubbed me the wrong way. Cat-fishing someone is pretty shitty and the fact that he's leading her on and not telling her the truth just felt gross. Again I'm not sure why this makes me feel weird but I'm cool with admittedly worse things.

actually no lets NOT get the FBI involved ;)

😑❤ 2. The blackmailing shit. . . In my humble opinion Thea forgave Connor WAY to easily for threatening her with the nude photos she sent to him THINKING HE WAS SOMEONE ELSE. This shit is just not okay. Women have this happen a lot and when it does happen instead of thinking "wow the guy that did that is a douchebag" women instead get made to feel a ton of shame. But luckily this is a romance guys so of course he didn't really mean it *eye roll*.

Worst of all, if he really needed my help—before he broke my heart—I would have helped him out, no questions asked because that’s the kind of person I am.
i guess her heart wasn't broken for that long

I wish he would've maybe blackmailed her with something other then nude photos because the whole thing just made him seem really creepy and douchey. I just wasn't ever able to see him as hero material after this whole thing went down and I felt like their romance was super rushed on top of that. It never really felt like he properly apologized or felt bad for doing that.

“We could always use the true version: you sent me a wrong number nude and I was like aight.”
wow what a catch

Also his apology was shit for the way he talked to her in the lunchroom when Thea was trying to stand up for Blair.

“I’m sorry. Dick move on my part.”

😑❤ 3. The way he hacked into her computer and accessed the webcam on her computer. Now THIS is when I was full on done with this dudes shit. So, because Connor is a full of angst and brooding he got really good at hacking and stuff.

He basically invades peoples privacy to get dirt on them and he does that to Thea as well. Which again ick but whatever. However, what was really gross was when he accessed her webcam on her computer and LOOKED AT HER IN HER ROOM.

With a few swift keystrokes, I access the webcam, activating it. Her room appears on my screen. Clicking my tongue and shaking my head, I lean back in my chair. “Don’t you know any better? Come on, everyone knows to put tape or something over their camera these days. It’s 101.”

Yup dude it's totally her fault you're such a Creepy McCreeperson.

⁉🤔 Were there any redeeming moments that make me think I'll revisit this one?? 🤔⁉

↪ I'm not going to sit here and lie and say I completely hated this book (more like the 50% i read of it ;). I think when Connor did pull his head out of his ass he could be less creepy?? I don't know this quote can be both taken both creepily and sweet???

“I’ll ruin you for anyone else, because I’m the only one who fucks you the way you like it, my dirty little mouse. There’s no escaping me.”
i always both cringe and swoon when heroes say shit like this. . .but the fact that he's 18 makes me err on the side of cringe

↪ ALSO, I have to say for being pretty meh, ew, ahhh, noooo, okay about Connor I actually really liked Thea. She really embodied the phrase tiny but mighty . She might not have been as loud and outspoken as some other heroines, but she knew what she deserved from Connor and consistently called him on his BS.

“This doesn’t have to be a secret we hide. If you want me, you can ask me out for real and maybe I’ll say yes.”

“Why do you always say the most depraved things when you’re jealous? Is your ego that fragile? I’m not even your real girlfriend, you territorial ass.”

And I also thought it was pretty hilarious when he was all like "imma blackmail you now" she was like "nah we not doing that".

First you shatter my entire world with the truth, then you blackmail me, then the lunchroom! You hurt my feelings and I don’t think I can stand to be around you whether you force me to or not until you make some kind of effort to treat me like I deserve to be treated.”

👏YES 👏 GIRL 👏 YOU 👏 TELL 👏 HIM 👏

↪ Connor may have thought he was steering that ship but nahhhhhhhhh Thea had him by the balls day 1 . And anytime he did try to manipulate her she wouldn't take that shit.

“Do it. It’s better than you pulling the leverage card when you don’t like what I say. I’m a person, Connor. You can’t control me like a chess piece.”

↪ Plus can I get a HELL YEAH for all of these quotes:

“There’s nothing wrong with the way I choose to dress, whether it’s a potato sack, my favorite sweater, or this.”

“And besides all that, I dress for me, not you, or anyone else. You don’t like my sweaters? Tough.

“Besides, boys need to learn to control themselves so I don’t have to put myself out and be uncomfortable in the heat in order to keep their eyes off me.

“That is such a sexist idea that I have to change and be the one to protect myself, and that all boys are dick-for-brains animals driven by their impulses. It’s a ridiculous argument, Mom, and it’s complete crap.”

Women are already wonderful the way they are. But I still struggle to accept that myself, even if I can dole out that advice to my friends.

↪ Also Thea's dog was 🐶🤎✨ super cute🐶🤎✨

I snort as Constantine tries to take off like a bullet, but skids on the back terrace and trips into a clumsy roll.

💖✨ Final thoughts??? 💖✨

↪ I think Connor and I got off to a rough start and I just wasn't in the most charitable or forgiving of mindsets when I read this one. The transition from bully/blackmailer to boyfriend happened way to fast for me and I would've liked more of a slow-burn. I think with these bully romances you can't rush the romance because it just doesn't feel genuine. When the transition is rushed it usually leaves me feeling like:

What Connor was planning on doing to Thea was TRASH and a horrible thing to do. I wanted him to feel a bit more sorry for doing that and actually come to terms what it said about him that he'd do it to someone who really didn't do anything to him. Was he kind of sweet once they became a couple? Yeah. They were cute together.

“But I told—” “Don’t say it.” “So broody.” I clutch my chest like he’s caused me a fatal wound. “So cold.”

I’ve only had one taste, but I’d burn the world to the ground for her, damn the consequences.

However, just because he's butt hurt about his mom's affair doesn't really give him a full pass on what he was trying to do to her. Just my two cents.

Maybe her affair has jaded him, giving him reason to avoid relationships. “I’m going to figure this out,”
you hit the nail on the head Thea. not much to figure out.

All in all, this is just my personal opinion! Just from doing a quick scan at the other reviews it seems like this book worked for a lot of people and that's OKAY! Opinions are just that opinions. I've shelved this under my might revisit later shelf because honestly some days I'm just feeling to damn salty to be reading. If my brain is in a happy mood usually I'll like a book a lot better than if I'm in a "i hate men and the world" mood. So maybe I'll come back to this one maybe not. We'll see!

Wowww.... I’m very blown away with this....
Great book... totally worth to read with all the drama!

‼️‼️‼️SAFE HIGH SCHOOL HOT ROMANCE LOVE STORY. TOTALLY SAFE.... do not worry lol

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS OTT POSSESSIVE PROTECTIVE ALPHA MALE! The hero had been through so much on his life especially his parents being very f*cked up.

ALSO IT DOESN’T TAKE TOO LONG for the hero to realize that the heroine is the one for him.

“I’m done running from my problems and fears. Finished letting my f*cked up family keep me from having someone that makes me happy. Thea is right. This doesn’t have to be fake. IT NEVER WAS. She’ll be my queen. The sunshine to my dark moonlight.”

🥺🥺🥺🥺

‼️‼️‼️SO MANY JEALOUS SCENES FROM THE HERO and little (twice) from the heroine.

“Most of the comments make me scoff.”

“Jealously is an irrational emotion, but there’s nothing I can do to stop it surging, calling on the vicious anger threatening to break free, threatening to break coleman’s face FOR LOOKING AT HER. I DON’T F*CKING SHARE.”

“IF HE DIDN’T GET THE MESSAGE THE TWO TIMES HE’S SEEN ME ALL OVER HER, I’LL MAKE IT CRYSTAL F*CKING CLEAR THIS TIME. She’s mine and he needs to stay away.”

“I know I’m acting crazy and possessive but this is what she does to me. Its impossible to control.”

“Dealing with this was hell when we were faking, but now that she’s my girlfriend? I’m even more possessive of her.”

‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE is not totally a badass but she knows what to do the right thing. She defends whats right and stand up for herself if she needs to. She’s actually a strong independent woman!

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO ACTUALLY Blackmailed her the first time because the hero thought that was okay to do it. He actually asked her to be his fake girlfriend!!!

And he ALSO WAS CAUGHT UP THE MOMENT because of his mom telling him to have a girlfriend so he can go to the big event his mom represents.

But I’m happy that the heroine actually stand up for herself and in the middle she have the courage to say “DO IT. ITS BETTER THAN YOU PULLING THE LEVERAGE CARD WHEN YOU DON’T LIKE WHAT I SAY.”

“Its why I want this. Us. But if this is all fake to you, then I’m out of here.”

And when the hero finally wants to be serious,

He said:

“If we actually doing this (officially date and no fake ever again) I might never let you go.”

🥺🥺🥺🥺

‼️‼️‼️HE ALSO SAYS TO THE HEROINE even before they even dated “YOU ARE MINE.”

“You’re all mine”

“Because you’ll always be mine. No one else’s.”

‼️‼️‼️AFTER the hero get closer to the heroine day by day... he actually knows deep down he loved her so much and he wants her soooo bad...

“I’m beyond screwed because Thea is an ocean I would gladly drown myself in.”

‼️‼️‼️NOT LOVE IN FIRST SIGHT....

‼️‼️‼️VERY HOT SMUT SCENES.
Both always used protection.

‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE IS A VIRGIN.

The hero is not.

‼️‼️‼️NO CHEATING. NOOOOOOOO....

‼️‼️‼️NO PAST PARTNERS EVER MENTION.

The hero only said like two times about him being with girls in the past like “i never been a relationship before, i only make out with them and thats it.”

Not too annoying or too much, so relax lol

‼️‼️‼️IT HAS a bully scene from the hero but not too much either... only like two times and thats it. The hero felt very bad after and said sorry many times. Even after they actually in a relationship, the hero admit what he did in the past was so very wrong.

EVEN after they dated, the hero never felt embarrassed with the heroine around school and around with anyone in that matter. He shows her off to every one to see how serious he is with the heroine and no one can touch her ever again. He became very protective of her....

‼️‼️‼️DRAMA WITH OM YES. NO DRAMA WITH OW.... Other drama was only family dramaaaa... AND all the drama was not too annoying or too much!!!!

‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE HAVE A STALKER.

But the hero saved the heroine before its too late.... the heroine escaped and the hero caught her.

‼️‼️‼️NO SEPARATION.

‼️‼️‼️IT HAS PUSHING AWAY from both but never too much and or too annoying. Nope.

‼️‼️‼️OF COURSE WE GET TO SEE THE CHARACTERS FROM THE FIRST AND SECOND SERIES OF THE BOOK. But blair and devlin was there and they were very super hot and cute 🥺🥺🥺

‼️‼️‼️HAPPY ENDING! They got married and in the bonus scene four years later,

They have a very cute daughter 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Soooooo super cute!

Before starting the proper review, let me say that Veronica Eden's writing style has become one of my favourite from 2020. I'm so glad I found out about Tempting Devil and got to see more of her work!

Ruthless Bishop is the third book of the Sinners and Saints series and it follows Thea Kennedy and Connor Bishop's story.

I was excited to be able to meet properly Bishop and Thea, as their breadcrumbs on Tempting Devil left me wanting more. Overall, I really liked this book.
I loved their relationship. It was easy to see how much they love and care for each other, how they started their relationship in a very passionate way (the texts... yes exactly what you're thinking) but how they start developing feelings for each other.

I have to say that one of the things that I liked the most was the development of both characters throughout the book. Bishop and Thea have incredible chemistry, ( we all know that ) I liked the dynamics between these two. The fact that Connor blackmailed her and then asked her to be his fake girlfriend had me gagging. I do love fake-dating. Need to mention again the emotional and physical connection between them, it was really incredible.

Thea Kennedy sweetest baby ever and Constantine best dog! I adore animals and especially dogs, and reading Thea's relationship with him made me happy. Not sure if I love her as much as I love Blair ( she's my best girl I can't help it ) but she has a special spot in my heart for sure. She might be naive, shy but she's so damn strong, determined and brave. ♡

Also, have to mention my babies devlinblair because I miss them so much. It was really interesting being able to see Devlin and Blair's relation from Connor and Thea's perspectives. Enjoyed seeing them on the GC and being a power-couple. Plus, we got to see Devlin being over-protective (as always) and Blair finally opening and meeting more people such as Thea and Maisy. I know this trio would be iconic. AND !!!! the bonus chapter made me emo. Truly emo.

Can't wait for some childhood best friends to enemies to lovers with Maisy and Fox. Love some angst.

3.5 ⭐️

The h was underconfident when it came to her body and I really do understand.

Most women below the age of 40 have insecurities. Sometimes its more than normal and can be detrimental.

In this case, h was starving to be or look beautiful or sexy even though she already was. She hid her body by wearing over sized clothes and that really doesn’t help as I know from experience, I had a phase as a teenager when I used to wear baggy clothes but looking at my photos I feel like wearing the right size no matter what is elegant and looks way more smarter.

Anyways, I think it was dangerous for the h to send risque photographs to a crush without even knowing if it was the correct phone number. First of all, sending any pictures online to any man is extremely dangerous, but sending it to someone thinking its that person’s number is even more dangerous. First of all, she should have actually talked to the guy via messaging or calling before she dared to send any pictures.

Its always best to get to know someone before sexting. Maybe become comitted to someone before even thinking of sending partially nude or nude pictures.

Fact: someone I know got blackmailed in real life because of such risque pictures she had sent and trust me, the visit to the cops and getting help was not a very easy job. Lawyers had to be involved and a bunch of other stuff, it was stressful.

Kids, don’t send nudes to your crushes or boyfriends, seriously.

Okay enough bantering about the risque pictures 🙈

This was a good story though.

H is obsessed and h is sweet and a nerd. Obviously the h unknowingly sends sexy pictures to the H. H blackmails h and the story slowly unravels as they fall in love.
H is h’s only lover. Its a fun read!

VERONICA EDEN YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!!!!! CONSTANTLY RAISING THE BAR FOR ALL OF US!!!!!!
I loved every minute of this book and finished it in pretty much one sitting. I absolutely loved Tempting Devil, so my hopes and expectations were very high for Ruthless Bishop and let me say, I am over the moon (no pun intended).

There’s a pretty serious topic this book deals with, and I think it’s been written really well when it comes to the outlook of the character first kind of processing the news. It’s really expected and very normalised for a trauma survivor.

Bishop and Thea have amazing chemistry - I loved them together and I loved them as individual characters as well. I think they have such a sweet dynamic to them and serve a lot of different tropes which is pretty cool. They’re a very soft pairing with veryyyyyy sexy scenes. Veronica knows how to write some good sex. They have that fire between them and I loved the push and pull between them both. Bishop and Thea were so in love and I loved reading about their love. They make such a great couple and I enjoyed reading every minute of them. They’ve truly stolen me I adore them I can’t even really muster up the right words to justify it.

I especially really like that Bishop has a big storyline surrounding his family environment and it’s more genuine than a typical high school athlete type of storyline that is usually used and is overdone in YA. I love that we get real insight into his family and how his family members and his personal experiences have impacted him, his values and behaviours. Bishop is one of those typical jerkish jocks so it seems, but Thea is pretty fast to unravel him and we see that he softens with her. He holds himself accountable in situations he should and I loved that about him. I truly loved that he wasn’t the typical ‘well I am the way I am because of my emotional baggage, so accept that or leave’; and that he was really able to adapt throughout every situation. His arc was great, I loved all of it. I love love love Bishop.

As for Thea, my absolute ray of sunshine!!! She’s the sweetest thing ever. Yet, she is extremely headstrong and not easily docile or submissive at the hands of others which I enjoyed seeing. She has a side of gentleness and kindheartedness, but is also determined, persistent, has a backbone and isn’t a soft girl push over/soft girl trying to be a bad bitch. She was overall very sweet and it’s sweet to have seen her scenes with Blair from her perspective and additional ones too. They’re so to die for. Thea really pulled a number on me when she was so adamant about her standpoint towards the end of the book and closed minded about seeing any other perspective but it’s kind of justified considering it’s in her nature to see the best in people. What I would’ve liked to see more for Thea was more involvement from her mum. There were talks about her being very strict and conservative which I can see, but I feel there should’ve been more involvement in Thea’s life from her considering Thea’s main issues with her mum was her mum being unwilling to give up control of her and her life.

The scenes between Devlin and Bishop were some of my favourites. I loved seeing their scenes so much and they have such a pure, warm, caring bond between each other. I adored seeing that more in depth! And, the scenes between Devlin, Blair and Bishop were hilarious. I love the thought of them as a trio and they call for a lot of humour when they’re together. Overall, really sweet friendships. I loved this read so so so much!

This book was cute. I loved how the hero did not bully the heroine throughout the whole book, which is usually the case with bully romances. Plus they had a lot of adorable scenes. All the epilogues were amazing.
However the development of their relationship was unfortunately lacking. To me it felt like they went from disliking each other to wanting to be together in a second.
Also the definite highlights for me were devlinblair moments and the setup for foxmaisy.

“That’s not fair. I’m not some toy to pick up and toss aside when you feel like playing with me.
I have a life.”
In a blink he’s in my face, growling as he corners me against the lab table once more.
My throat throbs with my fluttering pulse, a spike of fear lashing me.
“And I own it now.”

'Ruthless Bishop' is the third book of the 'Sinners and Saint' series by Veronica Eden. Told in dual perspectives , get ready to meet the blackmail king and his innocent mouse!!

After reading the second book of this series , this book was one of my most anticipated reads! Thea and Bishop intrigued me to no end and I was totally consumed by these two.

Thea is the perfect good girl type. She is innocent and pure , that is until one day she tried something new. With one racy selfie , Thea stepped into Connor Bishop's world. Connor Bishop is known as the Blackmail king of his academy. And there is a right reason for that. He is ruthless in what he wants and oh-so-hot!

By mistake , Thea sends her exposed selfie to the blackmail king. Connor is shocked to see that his good girl neighbour might not be such a good girl after all. So he plays along. They both spends nights chatting and exchanging hot photos. Until Connor decides to use the photos to his advantage. Now Thea has no choice but to become his fake girlfriend , to save her dignity. Connor on the other hand has no plans of letting her go , ever!

The girl next door has me under her spell.

This book was really so hot! I loved the chemistry between Thea and Connor. They both had a rough start , but I was sort of shocked to see so many swoon-worthy moments in this book too! Stating from a hot chapter to the perfect ending , this book was the whole package for me! A definite recommendation to all the dark Romance lovers who would love themes like blackmail and Bullying!

While I enjoyed book 2 Sinners and Saints, I was not that enthusiastic about this storyline, which by blurb alone, sounded promising. I liked the hero. His interception of her texts and playing along with her, then blackmailing her were devious, and frankly humorous to me in their interactions. I didn't care for the heroine, whose kindred insecurities would normally appeal to me.

The tech in this book was on point. The writing was overly descriptive -- too much time was spent talking about the story and in their heads rather than living, experiencing the story. I also would not categorize it as a dark romance. While I recognize the merits of this book, it failed to hold my attention, and I could not finish it. Slow and ultimately uninteresting storyline.

I enjoyed Thea and Conner's book but then again I love a good bully romance. It had a little bit off everything with hotness, drama and of some mystery! Theses two come to together because of a wrong number and mistaken identity. I will admit I found myself getting frustrated with Thea but Conner made up for it. Add in some crazy family drama and this was pretty good book! Definitely looking forward to the next one!!

Jesus on a freight train, Veronica Eden is fast becoming one of my favourite authors with the Sinners and Saints series!

In the third instalment, it’s Connie Bishop’s turn under the microscope and we find he is a blackmailer with a lot of leverage. Soon Thea becomes his latest target, but our boy Connor finds it harder and harder to deny that he’s feeling something for his little ray of sunshine. Until he finds a secret that blows everything apart.

Connor is delicious. What Veronica Eden does so well is write these uppity, bullying assholes who are just downright ruthless but have such a soft side it takes your feet from under you. You want to hate them, in fact, you do hate them. Until you don’t. Then it’s swoonarama drama and it’s utterly addictive!!

Thea was cute, but as strong as Blair or Gemma from the previous books but she held her own against Connor and his mom. But what I loved most was her storyline. Eden ta Joe’s a hard hitting relevant subject and she does it with so much truth it hurts.

I’ve truly been sucked into the world of Ridgeview, so much so that I don’t want to leave!! And I don’t have. Just yet because next is Maisy and Fox and I have a feeling he’s gonna be bad news…

- thank you veronica eden for sending me this book!
- bully romance, check tw’s!

i was super excited to get into this because of all the great things i’ve heard and i was NOT disappointed. first off, connor being a soccer captain AND a hacker…all i’m seeing is GREEN FLAGS ACROSS THE TABLE. was he a walking red flag in the beginning? yes absolutely, but let’s talk about DEVELOPMENT?? HELLO.

i also really love thea’s character! she matched connor’s energy with the banter AND in the tension, & it was SO entertaining to read. she’s such a strong character and all i want to do is give her a hug.

overall, this is the second veronica eden book i’ve had the chance of reading and i am downloading one of her other books on my kindle RIGHT NOW! not only is veronica’s writing captivating and entertaining but she pulls you through a rollercoaster of emotions and i wouldn’t have had it any other way!

Can't lie to the Goodreads timeline this was kinda good, I found myself enjoying this ship and how soft they could be with each other. Something that I really loved was how they got into a relations pretty early in the book and we saw many domestic moments with them. The epilogue and the extra epilogue as always made me feel so warm just the cutest ending, can't wait for the next book !!!

Ruthless Bishop is the third book of the Sinners and Saints series and I can honestly say that Veronica Eden surprised me with this one.

Thea and Bishop's story is obviously different than the others which I really enjoyed. Another thing that really interested me was Connor's character development. The development between both characters was so important that I think was part of what continued to carry on the story. Both character's have the things that make them who they are and when they come together they become an amazing duo.

Throughout the chapters, the development between Thea and Bishop continued to grow and it was a way they knew more about each other. The emotional and physical connection between them was one of the things I truly loved about them. I think that is one of the thing's that overshadowed the certain things I didn't like as much.

Veronica Eden's writing has easily become one of my favorites and the way she took Thea and Bishop's story is something I will always remember. I can't wait for what's to come from her!

i didn't connect fully with connor and thea. they were cute together when they decided to be a real couple. however, it was kind of quick development. connor was blackmailing her for one minute then next realizing he wanted her. it was just unbelievable on my part as i was reading it.

i would've wanted for a drawn out bullying before he finally cave in and figure out that he needed thea to be his. he didn't come off as the asshat bully he wanted to project but rather a wimp for thea. he was just sweet, protective, jealous, and obsessed over her. it was nice i guess.

i liked thea she wasn't shy for an inexperienced person. her baking obsession was cute too and she was so passionate about it. i'm glad too that she didn't roll over for connor even when she was bullying her. she held her ground and never became a pushover.

they were both have parents issues, but connor's parents were really fucked up. and for thea, i knew her mom's concerns were coming from the right place, but her way to express it wasn't cool at all.

the issue with her teacher was so uncomfortable to read in my case. i never liked adults who preyed on young people, they're disgusting and such a waste of air in this world. it made me uneasy about what the sleazabag did but it was a vital point in the book. it was a great relief when he was caught, people like that shouldn't roam around freely.

the two epilogues and extended epilogue were cute and swoony. over the top cheesefest, but i dig it. it was just full of love and happiness. they both deserve it anyway, all of the characters in this series does.

overall, this was good read. didn't love it that much nor dislike it. there's just something missing in the story, i'm not sure what's that missing element. anyway, i still had fun reading this although it didn't work out for me but maybe that won't be the case for other readers.

“If I’m the storm tearing through everything, Thea is the sunlight that breaks through in my wake. A sun captured by the moon, eclipsed by love. She pierces through my darkness with her light.”

3.5/5

Ruthless Bishop is the third book in the Sinners and Saints series. It follows Connor Bishop and Thea Kennedy, the blackmail king and the shy, nerdy girl of Silver Lake High. One wrong phone number, a few texts, selfies and some blackmail later, Connor and Thea will enter each other's world for better or worse.

Both characters caught my eyes in Tempting Devil especially with that one scene where Connor storms out of class and Thea goes after him in a hurry. I was very excited to read their story and know more about them and I wasn't disappointed because I enjoyed it a lot! I liked their relationship a lot, they had many cute moments together and it was impossible not to notice how deeply they cared about each other. However, I found that Connor and Thea's relationship evolved a bit too quickly, they went from fake dating to being in a real relationship quite early in the story. Unlike the previous books in the series, this one had a more mysterious plot that became more and more present and important throughout the story. I found this addition interesting, well written, but also well thought regarding the characters and their story.

Connor has a very messy and broken family and the only thing he wants is to get as far away from his parents as possible. To do so he decided to become the blackmail king of school. And thanks to his computer skills he collects information on almost everybody and is not scared to use it to get what he wants. He has trust issues and anger management issues, but as the story unfolds, we see more of his softer side, especially when he is with Thea, he quickly becomes very protective of her.

Thea also has her own problems at home, she lives with a very strict and negative mother who literally hates men. Because of that, Thea grew up having self-image issues and decided to secretly create a blog about herself to be more confident. She is very soft, but also determined and no longer afraid to stand up to her mother or Connor. Sometimes she frustrated me a little bit because she was very naive about some things, but she didn't believe Connor when he tried to protect her. That said, I can understand her because their relationship didn't start "well" and he has the reputation of someone who is willing to do everything for his own good.

What I also liked:

- The friendship between Devlin and Connor: compared to the previous book, they had a lot more scenes together. They always had each other's back and you could see how strong their friendship was. Also the DevlinBlairConnor scenes!! I need more of this trio please
- DevlinBlair crumbs: I loved reading some of their moments through Thea and Connor's POV, I think they'll always be my favorite couple of this series. I love them sooo much
- Hints for the next book in the series: friends to enemies to lovers!!!!

Overall I enjoyed Ruthless Bishop a lot, it was entertaining, Connor and Thea were adorable together and the two epilogues were perfect! I'm excited to read Maisy and Fox's book because they really intrigued me and I'm glad this series is continuing. I can't wait to collect more DevlinBlair and TheaBishop crumbs!

Ruthless Bishop follows the story about Connor Bishop who accidentally receives a naughty from Thea Kennedy the shy, nerdy girl at school. Connor is a blackmail king. He has information on so many people and uses it to bend them to his will and Thea will be no different. With one mistyped number, she reveals a completely new side to herself to the school king.

highlights
- devlin and connor's friendship (they're my babies). they have each other's back and it's seriously so heartwarming and ofc they're a hilarious duo
- thea is such a softie. she's so freaking cute; i wanna carry her around in my pocket
- texting/sexting trope was so different than anything i've read and it was super well written and not to mention hot lol
- connor + devlinblair... no words. what a dynamic duo ugh!!
- AND MOST OF ALLLLLLL THE EPILOGUE SCENE + EXTENDED BONUS SCENE OMG PLEASE (crying fr)

Overall, I really liked this book. I was super excited for this book's release! We've gotten so many spicy glimpses of bishopthea in Tempting Devil and I was happy to get my hands on this book. Veronica is such an amazing writer. She brings you into this world and you get so addicted to the characters. One of her many talents is building the angst and story for future characters. She does it SO WELL. I'm already so invested in the next couple. I cannot wait for them to serve. The devlinblair scenes were so perfect (gotta love icons). Again, another shoutout for that epilogue- I'm so so happy about that. I couldn't stop smiling. I'm seriously so ecstatic about it because I get to see all my babies and the extended bonus scene is way too precious.

Nope just no. I thought this was similar to the royal elite series but this was just a poor remix of a similar genre. I did not like the way the story was written, nothing felt touching. I didnt feel any love between the leads. Thankfully I didnt read the series from the beginning just to read this book coz i wont be reading anymore from this author.

Never gonna read this again.

Spoilers ahead:

Book starts off with thea trying to take sexy pictures that she wants to send her lifeguard crush wyatt. She dresses up in baggy clothes coz her mom is a prick. So now thea is not confident in her body and also coz she has these super boobs which she grew when she is a child.  She sends a picture additentally and the number is wrong . It goes to the bully who stays next door to her.

Connor is fed up with his family coz his the dad the principal is cheating and he walked in on his mom the political leader fucking her right hand man 2 years ago and that guy in the house. He goes and gets high on weed and sees the picture from thea. Since he's horny he also starts sexting her and sending her videos and audio clips. He cant see her face and thinks she is texting connor but then she says wyatt in her voice note and he stops. But pretends he is wyatt and gets her to send her selfie and be knows she is his neighbor and decides he will blackmail her in the future.

Connor is famous coz he daily scrolls through social media and saves photos and stuff from people which he can use in the future to blackmail them. Example pics of a girl with cocaine on her nose etc. It was just way creepy. He also has some code running which will capture data and he saves it all twice in his computers and protects it.

Thea is more confident now coz wyatt likes her. She stands up to one girl who is getting bullied by connor and devlin. But end the ending of the book we see that devlin is in love with the girl. This was similar to know royal elite series runs with stories running parallely.

One day he sees her in tank top and walking her dog and says she is staring at him and says she should not what she's not and leers at her. Then her mom is there and tells him to go. He wants to teach thea a lesson coz her mom called cops on him when he was beating his mom's lover . Now he has to go to anger management therapy coz of her.

His mom sends him a list of girl who he should pick to be his gf for a banquet. And he decides he will blackmail thea to pretend to be his gf. So he conners her in a room and shows her the pictures and says he will send them all. Then after crying she agrees and says they wont text again.

The guys in the novel are not as sadistic as royal elite and this seemed like a normal ya novel.

Thea has some blog where she posts similar pics of her body to get validation from strangers and she's being doing that from 15. Some guy Henry knight keeps saying she is perfect and he is older. She thinks of him as her bf and he gets her to send more dirty pictures to him and they have stopped talking since 2 years but now she's getting more comments on all the posts from him.

Connor hacks her computer and goes through everything and switches on her webcam to see her room.he sees the blog and is angry.

One day they are about to kiss but her teacher mr. Coleman comes there. Something is wrong with the teacher he is young and all the girls flirt with him and even thea likes him. But Coleman doesnt like anyone around thea and connor is jealous.

One day they kiss and that's her first kiss. He says sorry for losing his temper and yeah connor was a good kid. She is attracted to him and one day she sends him a message and he sends her a pic and she starts sexting him and he tells her to put the phone on the window and facetimed her and talks dirty to her and watches her masturbate.

They go to the ball and he doesnt let her speak to anyone and then she asks why he is doing that and he drags her into a closet and he goes down on her. Then they hear his mom and her lover arguing and thea understands that reason why connor doesng believe in relationship.

She gives an ultimatum that he wont kiss her until they are official and he easily agrees. She sees that he went to a party with others and thinks he keeps her a secret. He pings him a pic of her and he goes to his pool house.  She says she isnt a secret and he says sorry and she says they will go to the dance and he asks her to come to the dance. Then he asks her to look at the mirrors and watch herself and take pictures of herself while he fingers her. Then they have sex. The sex isnt explosive it's just boring. And that's her 1st time.

One day he sneaks into her home and they bake and then her mom is here and she supports connor. Coleman moves her into some dance committee and connor hears how he keeps calling her perfect and his words are similar to the henry knight guy and he starts hacking them somehow someone else hacks his computer and gets his data and says they will give info on coleman if he gets a necklace from the teacher house and they threaten thea if he doesnt do it.

He warns thea to stay away from the teacher but she doesnt listen and thinks he is overreacting so he leaves. She is worried about him but he is at her house and says sorry and he takes her to some place and they camp in the boot of his car and have sex.

He breaks into the teacher house and sees that there are many girls who are his victims and he made them some necklaces with their name and finds one for thea. He takes pictures of it all and gets the necklace the hackers want. He goes to thea and shows her all this but she doenst see it and is angry coz he hacked her computer to see her blog and all and tells she needs space. He gives her the evidence and leaves.

She goes to the fair and is thinking that she's a victim and seeing if coleman is Henry knight and she sees the teacher buying some necklace for a girl who looks like her. She looks at the evidence and realises both are same and he follows his car to save the girl and she is caught by him. He puts her in a room and says they will be together now and she pretends they will keep this a secret. Then she hits him and runs and he catches her.

Connor gets some video from the hackers where she sees coleman and thea and he runs to his house. Then he threatens him with a gun and they fight and he is shot in the shoulder. But the police come and he is taken.

Some guys dressed like fed agents come and take a scared coleman away. There must be more to the story but I'm not impressed to read more of this shit.

Thea's mom says the reason why she cant allow normal clothes is coz her sister also dressed like that and he was killed by a guy.
Connor gets some onedrive from the hackers and his bitcoin investment is trippled and he moves out from his house and gets a Bakery for thea.

Epilogue
9 month later , thea finds him at a bakery and he says he bought it for her. Then he proposes to her and all his friends come and celebrate. She is mending her relationship with her mother and they all go to therapy.

6 months later

They are in Paris for their honeymoon and they are having sex and she is planning some menu for her bakery.

We see glimpses about her friend and another guy who hates her for no reason. But I dont wanna get into another book from this series or author.

You guys!!!! Holy Sugar Honey Iced Tea you are NOT ready for Bishop!!!!

I'm just going to throw this out there right now. Bishop is mine, I've claimed him, he is my latest book boyfriend obsession and I'll only let you borrow him while you read this book! He might be ruthless but he is also romantic. Redeemable A*Hole at its finest. Oh and Thea? I feel like every YA woman needs to read this book because they will relate to her struggles. Everyone can use some of Thea's motivational sayings!

Her story is all too real. As women we tend to be our own worst critics. That little voice inside our heads can be very loud and hard to shut up. Thea's journey from shy young lady to empowered woman was wonderful. That saying "You can't love anyone else until you love yourself" might as well be one of her posters on her wall. I felt like a fan on the sidelines of her journey of personal acceptance, cheering her on. I just want to wrap her up like a cupcake and tell her how precious she is.

How does Eden write characters that are so great? I seriously have no idea. The SaS series just keeps getting better!! Ruthless Bishop was great in terms of character and storyline. I loved the suspense aspect of the book. I wasn't expecting this to be a romantic suspense so that twist was great. I really hope that we get to see more of these characters in the future. I'm not ready to say goodbye to Ridgeview!!!!
