Hawaiʻi Youth Sustainability Challenge

 Community Partner Challenges

Overview

A program of Kupu and Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation, the Hawaiʻi Youth Sustainability Challenge (HYSC) is an initiative to empower Hawaiʻi youth to create solutions to conservation and sustainability challenges in their schools and communities. Students in grades 9-12 apply to receive funding, guidance, and training to support their innovative and grassroots environmental initiatives.

To support HYSC and a more resilient future for Hawaiʻi, community partners identified problems and issues they face in their work that could benefit from a creative solution developed by students.
