A Lady of Defiance

4.7 out of 5 stars

"My absolute favorite genre – Western! And Heather Blanton does not disappoint. This is the first book of hers that I’ve read, but I will certainly read everything she has written based on how amazing this story was. You should buy this book for the Forward alone. I read it twice, and it brought me to tears both times. It is a quick and amazing testimony about one of the author’s sisters. Simply incredible."

Grace be a Lady

4.7 stars out of 5 stars

"This book is simply AMAZING!! I hated having to put it down and take care of everyday life. HA
The story catches your emotions from the very first page and draws you in with such detail that you feel as if you are experiencing the many ups and downs with Grace and Thad. There's plenty of humor, tension, disappointment, pride, suspense (the list could go on)...and the bad guys are really bad!! So good!!
Heather is truly a gifted writer. The story flows so smoothly and is so easy to read. This book is a must as well as her other books!! I especially LOVED Lady in Defiance and Hearts in Defiance. I can't wait to ready more from Heather! By far one of my favorite authors!!"

About the author

Heather Blanton

I love Christian Western Romance because this is the genre that lets me write about strong, pioneer women and men who struggle to find God and then live out their faith in real ways. Romance is always a strong element in my stories because it is such a beautiful gift from God, and a perfect reflection of how he loves us: sacrificially and lavishly. My stories aren't preachy or cheesy, but I hope they are inspirational, heart-warming, realistic, illuminating, and glorifying to God. Like good old fashioned Westerns, there is always justice, a moral message, American values, lots of high adventure, unexpected plot twists, and more than a touch of suspense.

I believe Christian fiction should be messy and gritty, because the human condition is ... and God loves us anyway.
