Spread over 2.5 hectares of wooded land, the Camping offers 47 comfortable and unusual accommodations, as well as 63 spacious Pitch rentals, for total immersion in nature.
Situated in the heart of a magnificent region between the Ain and Savoie departments, our Camping is nestled in a green setting, offering a soothing natural environment where you can recharge your batteries in complete serenity. L’ile de la Comtesse has been a family-run campsite for over 15 years. Its human scale mainly attracts families with young children. Our young team strives to ensure a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, and our aim is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We keep it simple, human, close to our customers and to nature. Whether you want to see the magnificent Glandieu waterfall, relax on the shores of Lake Aiguebelette or climb the Grand Colombier, this destination offers a multitude of discoveries for lovers of Savoyard nature and culture.
We had an excellent stay for the 2nd time. One small surprise was the swimming pool, which has had a facelift.
The setting is magnificent: mountains, Rhône. Lots of activities on and off the campsite.
Ideal for families.

The managers and the whole team are very friendly and attentive.
Everything is very clean. The new swimming pool is lovely and the entertainment for children and others is great!
We’ll definitely be coming back for the 5th time, and our grandchildren and ourselves are always delighted.
Are VACAF vouchers accepted?
Unfortunately, our Camping is not authorized to accept vacaf vouchers.
Are dogs allowed on the Camping?
Yes, dogs are allowed (except category 1 or 2 dogs) on our Camping Pitch rentals and also in certain categories of accommodation: Plaisancier mobile homes, PMR cruising chalets and cruising chalets (for a fee). Your dog must be kept on a leash inside our establishment, and must be tattooed/chipped and vaccinated against rabies.
Are swimming shorts allowed in the aquatic area?
For reasons of hygiene and ecology, swimming shorts are not permitted in the aquatic area. Only bathing suits (boxer shorts or briefs) are allowed, and we sell them at the campsite reception.
What are the arrival and departure times?
For rentals (chalet or mobile home), arrivals are from 4:00 pm and departures until 10:00 am.
