SUBMISISON FEE

During the Extended Submission Period (April 27, 2020 - May 15, 2020 at 11:59pm EST), a $5 fee will be applied to every script submission. Scripts will only be considered with accompanying $5 fee, and the one script per playwright restriction still applies. Writers who have sent entries during the Regular Submission Period should not re-submit.

CONFIRMATION

Following payment via PayPal, you'll receive a digital receipt by email. If you do not receive this PayPal confirmation within 15 minutes, your submission has not been processed. Feel free to contact stevensonprize@playingonair.org with any questions.

TIMELINE

Each playwright will receive an email update on the status of their script by mid-July.

WHY IS THERE A SUBMISSION FEE?

As the Stevenson Prize competition grows, we’re committed to keeping this opportunity accessible to all playwrights with our no-fee Regular Submission Period. We’re also committed to paying every reader, judge, staff member, and intern involved, as we have in previous years. $5 submission fees in the Extended Period will cover a small part of that fair compensation for the artists who make the Stevenson Prize possible.
