We have an incredible line up for you.
A tasty sandwich of dirty funk from Mulvey's Medicine, followed by ripping 5 part harmonies and folk/rock with Passing Ships, rounded off with some more filthy, bombastic funk with Soul Grenades!
Mulveys Medicine
This band doesn't just turn heads but turns you on to their new sound. No strangers to selling out shows like Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and Pizza Express Jazz Club, Soho - the relentlessly soulful jazz-funk outfit ‘Mulvey’s Medicine’ bring their everything to the stage - inspired by Prince and all that is funky.
Passing Ships
Passing Ships combine a classic American FM radio sound with the scratchy, wooden sounds of the late 60's folk scene. You might think of Tom Petty, Crosby Stills and Nash or The Beach Boys when you hear the lush vocal harmonies. Then mandolins, electric guitars and hammond organs fill out the authentic vintage sound that also reflects the band's songwriting. Topped off with unexpected covers that will blur the lines with the band's original songs, Passing Ships promises a truly old school experience, transporting listeners back to a time before autotune and sampling!
Soul Grenades
Based in London, hailing from Montenegro, Hackney, Sydney and beyond, Soul Grenades have established themselves as one of the most exciting acts on the live scene and festival circuit.
A veritable tornado of funk, the band boasts a super-tight rhythm section, a wall of brass and an extensive song book of original music. Fusing their many influences, encompassing crate-digging rarities to contemporary dance floor fillers, Soul Grenades deliver no-nonsense, hard-hitting funk and soul music.
