Independence Day Celebration: 7/4/19 6:00 PM

Enjoy the best view of fireworks in the city from the museum’s waterfront campus.

Update 7/3/19: Tickets are now sold out. You are welcome to park elsewhere and walk in at the gate (cash only). $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 2-18, free for kids under 2. 

Important to Know

• Bring a picnic - food and drinks will not be sold on campus (except for ice cream).
• The museum galleries and gift shop will be open from 6-9 pm. Photographer J. M. Giordano will discuss his exhibit "Shuttered: Images from the Fall of Bethlehem Steel," at 7 pm.
• We will host hands-on activities for kids in the covered pavilion. Children must be supervised at all times, both inside and outside the museum.
• Fireworks begin around 9:30 pm.
• The event is held rain or shine. Fireworks are managed by Baltimore City, not the BMI. We cannot offer refunds.
• The following items are not allowed for safety reasons: pets, glass bottles, grills, sparklers.
