Help Will with Surgery Bills

Will Lamont started his employment at Panera Bread 6 months ago, in the middle of a pandemic. While that has been a struggle in itself, he has now learned he will need heart surgery. He will undergo a minimally invasive heart surgery called annuloplasty on November 13th, 2020. This news comes after Will lost his dad back in June due to a heart attack.
These are a few of the procedures he will need to restore the quality of his heart. He may also need patching, repair and reshaping of the area:
An annuloplasty is a procedure to tighten or reinforce the ring (annulus) around a valve in the heart. It may be done during other procedures to repair a heart valve.
The MitraClip device is a small clip that is attached to your mitral valve. It treats mitral regurgitation by allowing your mitral valve to close more completely, helping to restore normal blood flow through your heart.
At this time it is unknown how much his surgery will cost with his current health insurance but we can only imagine it will be a much larger burden. Our goal of $1,500 is to simply cover funds lost during a two week period of being out of work to recover. We will update our goal as we know more about the cost.

On Saturday, November 21st we will be doing a 24 hour fundraising event to help reach or exceed our goal. A group of us will be playing video games while trying to stay awake for 24 hours. For every donation made we will do something fun and silly to celebrate.
