The Division of Instruction of the Los Angeles Unified School District is inviting teachers and administrators of science to participate in a 2-day professional development on formative assessment for Next Generation Science Standards instruction.

PD Objective:

1- Experience a grade level NGSS unit and how embedded formative assessments might support 3 dimensional learning
2- Dive into the new LAUSD interim assessment and learn how to access it, assign it, and grade it all on Schoology
3- Learn how to use multiple free online platform to get instant feedback from students

Spaces are limited to 30 participants per grade level per site (90 participants per site) and availability is on first come first serve basis.
