Lead Arts Liaison Application 2017-18
If you are interested in representing your Network in an arts leadership capacity, are available to lead Arts Liaison workshops, and have the capacity to support Arts Liaisons via email and in-person meetings, please fill out this application! Applications due by 11:59pm on FRIDAY, AUGUST 25, 2017. The Department of Arts Education will get back to you by September 6 with next steps.
Responsibilities of Lead Arts Liaison include:
- Co-facilitation of Arts Liaisons training, workshops, and professional development;
- Lead a session at the CPS Arts Education Conference to the arts educators and Arts Liaisons of your Network;
- Support the needs and leadership development of Arts Liaisons in your Network via email and in-person meetings;
- Participate in the promotion, development, and delivery of student programs, such as the CPS All-City Elementary Visual Art Exhibitions, Music Festivals, CPS Advanced Arts Program at Gallery 37, and CPS All-City Performing Arts Regional and Citywide Programs;
- Respond to and support your Network Chief(s) as needed; and
- As needed, serve on Central Office-based committees for school improvement, new school design, policy development, and other initiatives for a well-rounded education.
