Use a Muffin Tin to Dish Out Condiments at Your Next Backyard BBQ

If you're doing some backyard grilling this weekend, or inviting friends over for the 4th next week, you'll probably dedicate part of some outdoor table to condiments: mustard or relish for the hot dogs or sausages maybe mayo or ketchup for the burgers. Here's one way to Help your guests get just what they want and make cleanup a breeze: reach for your muffin tin.

You can see the idea in the pic above, but over at party planning site Catch My Party, one writer used a muffin tin as small serving vessels for condiments and other add-ons to avoid leaving an entire bottle of mayo or mustard out in the hot sun all afternoon. Pop a few spoons in each section, and your guests can help themselves without unscrewing a lid or squeezing mustard all over their plates. It's obviously not perfect (I mean, look at those onions) but it's a good idea.

What do you think? We've established that muffin tins have tons of great uses, but do you have a better way to approach the idea? Let's hear it in the comments below.
