In the past I focused on male operatives guarding women, but this time I turn the tables and have a female security agent guarding her former love. She will use every skill she's ever learned in the military to try and keep Marcus safe and prove his innocence. She a former sniper, holds a black belt, and can hack into any computer system around. If you like tales of corporate espionage, blackmail, and corruption, mixed with some mystery and edge of your seat suspense, along with some heated scenes that will leave you breathless and begging for more...then look no further.

Makenna’s Trust is the 3rd book in the Titans Security series and one that is full of second chances. When Makenna is put on assignment to protect and prove the innocence of her ex, she is not happy. Marcus has been waiting five years to be in the same room as Makenna again and even though his life is on the line he is going to make the most of his time with her to get the answers he needs. As secrets are revealed and hearts are on the line these two discover that some connections can never be broken. A story that is action packed, angsty and has you on the edge of your seat. Makenna and Marcus heat up the pages and command your attention. Their story will take you on a roller coaster of emotions and might just have you begging for even more of this couple because you just won’t want to close the pages on them.

Makenna Bradford has been waiting to prove herself very capable at her newer job at Titan Security, but when she finally gets that big op in the field, it's for her ex-boyfriend, Marcus Lombardi, the man who smashed her heart into pieces 5 years ago. He's been charged with being the head of a Ponzi scheme which has possible terrorist ties, and his people have specifically asked for her. She's not happy, but this is her big chance so she tries to make sure her walls up, and heads out to help him. Marcus is still not sure why Makenna ran all those years ago, but what he does know is that he's never gotten over her, so he's determined to convince her to give him a second chance once all of his legal issues are fixed, or sooner if possible. So while she's trying to unravel all the crap which has been thrown on him to make him look guilty, keep him from being killed, and trying to show that she never got over him either, their emotions are all over the place. It doesn't take too long before their explosive chemistry won't be denied, so they light the sheets on fire. As Makenna gets an answer to a question, 20 more pop up, so obviously there are insane amount of twists that had me dropping f-bombs. And the secondaries involved all had me suspicious as anyone of them could be involved, so I was yelling at my kindle like crazy. Plus, there was a 4 legged secondary named Luke, who tried to steal the show for me, as he created moments that had me laughing. So if you want to see who dun it, and if Makenna gave Marcus that second chance, you'll have to one click this fantastically exciting story! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This book was filled with thrills, mystery, and love. The characters were well written and just like in real life there were some you loved, some you weren't sure of, and some you just didn't like because you knew they were bad. It kept me guessing on what would happen next and who was a good guy and who was a bad guy.
Makenna was a strong lead female that had her "kickass" moments and her "how can she be like that" moments. She had been lied to and she had changed her whole life because of it and now she needs to do her job and not think to much about the past. Marcus is a sweet man and doesn't know why Mekenna left him in the first place but she was the only one he truly trusted and he knew if he could prove himself to her then she would be the perfect person to have on his side. Their story was complicated and it kept you sitting on the edge of your seat as you felt their emotions come to life. It just made you not want to put the book down because you just needed to see where it was going to go and if they would ever get to be happy again. Great story!

This book is a deliciously tempting romance that will have you rooting for the main characters to find their way to one another and their HEA.

Impressed
I was immediately drawn into this story line by Makenna’s strength and abrupt way of speaking. Her fearlessness and her skilled survival training to protect is prominent throughout this novel, as well as her feelings for a former lover of whom she is hired to be a body guard. The plot develops into a page turning frenzy and the chemistry between Makenna and Marcus deliciously heats up. The plot held my attention throughout the entire book and the research and fact checking that went into this story is amazing. I was impressed and am intrigued by the author’s writing style. I am anxious to see if her prose continues throughout her other works.

This was a good book. I enjoyed all the plot twists. And I swore I had it figured out halfway through and I wasn't entirely right. Which is awesome. And I love the dom/sub part that I didn't know ahead of time. I loved how badass and strong Kenna was. And Marcus was a so swoony. I loved how much strength he had. Great book.

I found this book to be an Intriguing, Intense and HOT. It had me at the edge of my seat guessing who was responsible for the ponzi scheme. Who hired the sniper to take down this pair. MaKenna and Marcus got the second chance they both yearned for. They may of had to go 5 years before they got answers they both deserved. They might of missed alot together in 5 years of time. But by the end of this story MaKenna and Marcus had made up for all they missed out on in those 5 years. Was definite HEA.

This is my first book from this author and I'm completely hooked. This book has it all. Mystery, suspense, love. It kept you guessing on who was the bad guy and who wasn't. Who could you trust and who you couldn't. I will definitely be checking out the rest of the series.
