The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization is proud to share with our community “Ridin’ The Wind With Rob,” a 95-minute benefit ride, followed by a dinner and raffle organized by ADAO community member Jill Cagle in memory of her husband, Rob. Rob tragically lost his life to mesothelioma on September 11th, 2011 after a 6-year battle and numerous chemotherapy treatments. All proceeds from the event will go to the Robbie Cagle College Scholarship Fund, the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization, and the Mesothelioma Research Foundation.

All of us at ADAO would like to extend our support to Jill, and to everyone participating in this ride, and we are extremely thankful to be a part of this great event. In loving memory of Rob, Jill has taken this opportunity to spread awareness about the dangers of asbestos exposure. She asked ADAO to create an informational flyer, “Identifying Asbestos in Your Home,  to increases asbestos awareness to prevent mesothelioma and other deadly diseases.

“Ridin’ the Wind with Rob” takes place Saturday, July 28 from 11:00 – 1:00, followed by a dinner at Goodfellas restaurant in Pekin, IL at from 4:00 – 7:00. Though many will not be able to attend in person, we ask that you show your support by visiting the Facebook event page and writing on the wall.

Jill, thank you for always being part of our ADAO family. As Rob said, “It All Good” and I know  your “Ridin’ The Wind With Rob” event will be fantastic!

In unity,

Linda
