2021 Summer Institute Educator Application
Thank you for your interest in being a 2021 Lake Huron Place-Based Stewardship Education Summer Institute participant! This year, we plan to get our feet wet by exploring water topics including water chemistry, biotic water quality, Anishinaabe water teachings, environmental justice education and more! Each participant will also receive coaching and time to plan a place-based stewardship education project.

This year's Summer Institute will be both virtual and in-person with self-paced asynchronous materials released at the beginning of July via Google Classroom and regional field dates on July 20, 21 and 22. If selected, we will assign you ONE of these dates based on your location.

State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs) and a $500 project stipend will be available to educators who complete the Summer Institute.
