Host Family Application
| The Rotary Youth Exchange Program appreciates your interest in hosting an exchange student, and we are confident that this will be a truly rewarding experience for you. Although not required, we prefer that each host parent have their own email address, rather than one family email for both parents. The reason is that there are several steps in the host family application process that are keyed to the parents' email addresses, and using a family email address can cause confusion and a delay in being approved to host a Rotary Youth Exchange student. You will be asked for 3 personal references. Only one reference can be a Rotarian, and this Rotarian can not be involved with Rotary Youth Exchange. You will also be asked to upload the following photos: 1) the student's bedroom 2) the student's bathroom 3) your kitchen 4) your family or living room 5) the front of your home and 6) a family photo. Each photo is limited to 5 MB. The US State Department requires that we obtain the information on this form and conduct background checks on all potential host family members. We assure you that the information that we receive will be treated confidentially, and we thank you for your assistance and understanding. |
