- The main focuses of this creative venture is based around the hand-woven flax flowers.
They are not a common item outside of New Zealand and do make a bold yet elegant statement.
Combining the unique flax flower with fascinator and hat making skills, it has become a successful and creative journey.
I have a background in art and design with industry experience in Photography and Picture framing. My husband Alan, Oliver (3) & I live in sunny Queensland, Australia.
Since starting a family and caring for Oliver fulltime I have been looking for a home based outlet for my creativity. Just this year I came a upon the modern coloured woven flax flower while travelling overseas and knew this was to be the focus behind creating the Hair Accessories and fascinators.

Your Flax Roses are exquisite -you have something very unique. I would love to help you with some of trim techniques in lessons on Loops, Bows and feathers as they would take your pieces to a new level. New lessons on Hatinators, Cocktails and Fabric covered Pillboxes are being edited ready to add to lessons. I am here to help you in anyway I can. I live on the Sunshine Coast so great another Qlder has joined us in Hat Academy
