The team at Ox and Finch and Ka Pao would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the community support and well-wishes we have received following the temporary closure of both restaurants on Tuesday, 17 March 2020.
Whilst, for the time being, we will not be serving dining-in guests at either restaurant, we are delighted to announce that from 5 p.m. on Thursday, 19 March (and daily from noon till 10 p.m. thereafter), a combined menu of selected dishes from both Ox and Finch and Ka Pao menus will be available for takeaway only from Ka Pao, Botanic Gardens Garage, 26 Vinicombe Street!
Customers have the option of their orders being collected from the restaurant's reception area - our entrance doors will be kept open and hand-washing points will be available for customers to use on arrival - or, if you call when you arrive, we will bring your order to the kerb outside of Ka Pao.
A range of wines and beers from the drinks lists of both restaurants will also be available at retail price to takeaway.
We are also currently investigating the feasibility of introducing a delivery service and will provide updates via our social media channels.

This is something we have never done before - it is a plan that we have put in place at very short notice, as you will understand - and we kindly ask for your patience and continued support while we navigate the unknown.
Another way that you can show your support is by buying gift vouchers for use in our restaurants when we fully reopen. As a token of our appreciation, for every £25 spent a complimentary cocktail will be added to the value of the voucher. We will backdate this to apply to vouchers purchased from Tuesday, 17 March 2020, and vouchers will be valid for a twelve month period from the date the restaurants reopen.
We understand that during this time of uncertainty caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we are asking a lot when we ask for help. Sharing our plan to remain trading to support our staff and suppliers with your friends and family would be a gesture gratefully received by all at Ox and Finch and Ka Pao.
