Happy Holidays! I can't believe how quickly this year has come and gone. It's been<br />
an absolute whirlwind for me. So many wonderful blessings have come into my<br />
life this year, so much so that I haven't have time to sew as much as I would have<br />
liked. Alas, there is always a new year to work on my never-ending sewing pattern<br />
pile.<br />
Continuing with my end of year tradition, I was looking for a new way to compile<br />
and reflect on all of my favorite posts of <strong>2017</strong>. I wanted to do something other than<br />
a year end review. As long as I've been blogging, I like to change it up every now<br />
and then to keep it fresh. So, I thought, "Why not put together a 'stylebook'?"<br />
I decided to call it <strong>Notions</strong> because of the double entendre. Not only are notions<br />
things that you use with sewing, but also preconceived ideas and opinions. And<br />
people that sew and don't sew sure have a lot of those when it comes to home<br />
sewing, especially other's sewing. And I love turning those ideas and opinions on<br />
their heads.<br />
Next is, where is this "<strong>Notions</strong>" thing going? Well, for now it's a stylebook. It may<br />
turn into an occasional newsletter when I feel that I have something of interest<br />
and value to share.<br />
So, enjoy and we will all see what 2018 brings!<br />
