Two apps for Instapaper, one of our favorite bookmark and read later apps, are on sale today for both iPhone and Android.
If you're an iPhone user, you can grab the official Instapaper app today for $2.99, down from its original price of $4.99. If you've been holding off on trying Instapaper due to its price, today's a good time to check it out—it has a lot of features that make it a great alternative to Readability and Pocket. Instapaper for Android holds steady at its usual price of $2.99, but if that's too steep for you, you can also grab the unofficial (yet feature-filled and Nook-friendly) pro version of Instafetch for only $1.99. Update: It looks like Instafetch hacks the Instapaper interface rather than going through official channels to get your articles, which doesn't support the developer of the app. So, unless you have a rooted Nook Simple Touch—which the official client doesn't work on—we recommend grabbing the official Instapaper client for Android instead. It's only a dollar more, it supports the developer, and you're likely to have fewer issues because it isn't "hacky" like Instafetch is.
