SUBMISSION POINT FOR EINSTEIN AND MONTEFIORE AFFILIATES
The Pandemic Perspectives editorial team is accepting submissions to "Pandemic Perspectives: The COVID-19 Journal for Medical Trainees".
We are collecting stories and reflections about the COVID-19 pandemic from all medical and health professional trainees. This includes medical students, residents, nursing students, and other allied health professionals in training.
The goals of this journal are to create a unified platform for expression, to connect our communities, and to build and preserve a collection of writing that represents our experiences during the pandemic.
We are open to receiving multiple types of written submissions, including poetry and other creative writing.
We want to hear your thoughts and reflections about COVID-19. Not sure what to write? Try out these prompts:
- How does your level of training or your unique experiences inform your perspective of and actions during this crisis?
- How has this situation impacted your education or experience as a health professional in training?
- How has it shaped your future career goals?
- What notable clinical experiences or patient interactions have you had?
- How has your understanding of healthcare, health systems, health policy, or other social issues changed as a result?
By submitting to Pandemic Perspectives you grant our team permission to make edits for style and grammar. Please note that we generally make very limited edits in order to preserve the voice of our authors.
Your email will NOT be shared or published, it will only be used to contact you if there are any concerns regarding the content, language, or any violation of HIPAA - please DO NOT include any identifying patient information.
We are accepting submissions on a rolling basis.
