Since 1981, Peace Development Fund has supported small, grassroots organizations through grants, fiscal sponsorship and capacity building training. Your contribution to PDF this #GivingTuesday will go directly to our Community Organizing Grant cycle which gives resources to community-based organizations working for peace and furthering social justice.

The success of last years #GivingTuesday fundraiser helped PDF provide grants to organizations such as Assata's Daughters, Adelante Alabama Worker Center, and the California Coalition for Women Prisoners. This year, among others, PDF grantees include Springfield No One Leaves, a member-led, housing justice organization; API Equality, which builds power in queer and transgender Asian and Pacific Islander communities in Northern California; and Wicahpi Koyaka Tiospaye, which builds justice, unity and power in Indigenous communities with a motto of "We Are the Ancestors of Tomorrow."

For every $5,000 we raise, one more grant can be made to a small organization that is working to create change and build power.
