HOW TO PLAY:

✿Students select a "House Mat." These are colorful bases to the puzzle and come in 9 different colors.

✿ Students begin by picking a roof which has a number on it. Then the students find the pieces to the house that match that number.

✿ Students can record their puzzle on the included optional recording sheet!

Check out the video preview above to get a better idea of how to play!

Each house has 4 pieces to fit together: the number, expanded form, written form, and base ten blocks. The style differs for 2-digit houses to 3-digit houses to make it harder to mix up the pieces. There are 9 puzzles per style, making a total of 18 colorful houses.

There's also a BONUS craftivity included! Students color, cut, and piece together their own place value house! Secure onto some construction paper and you can decorate your classroom like a neat little neighborhood!
