Background Check Request Form
Please submit this form for any individual whom requires a background check by Prenda.

As a reminder, public microschool Guide candidates, any adults 18+ who either reside in the facility where a public microschool is held OR will spend time in the microschool with opportunity for contact with students, and new Prenda staff members/contractors are required to pass a background check. This must occur prior to further engagement with Prenda.

The individual for whom you are requesting a background check will receive an email from Checkr, the third party platform Prenda uses for background check processing. The individual will complete the request electronically.

It can take anywhere from two hours to two+ weeks for a background check to process. Prenda will contact you, the background check requester, and the background check candidate directly once we receive the background check contents.
