WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross senior midfielder Michael Urquhart has been named to the 2017 Preseason Coaches' All-Patriot League team by Face-Off Yearbook.
Urquhart led the team last year with 53 ground balls and was fifth with 10 caused turnovers. In the 2016 Patriot League Tournament, he scored his first collegiate goal against No. 20 Bucknell. Urquhart earned the Holy Cross Defensive Player of the Year Award for the 2016 season. He is a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
Holy Cross will begin its season on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Kuzniewski Field at the Luth Athletic Complex when it hosts Providence. The Team Shop will be open in the Luth Athletic Complex.
