The 2020 election takes place during a time of great challenges. As a community leader, we look to you for leadership to ensure election integrity. Will you join other community leaders in signing the following pledge?

The right to vote in free and fair elections is a cornerstone of our democracy. Therefore:

1. I commit to vote and publicly encourage all citizens of Central New York to vote.

2. I commit to insisting that all lawful ballots be counted under applicable New York State law, and in all other US states and territories, before election results are certified as legitimate.

3. I commit to use my authority to prevent, investigate, and remedy any efforts to: intimidate voters, interfere to illegitimately disqualify ballots, or otherwise tamper with the election results.
         
4. I commit to publicly support the right to peaceably demonstrate in favor of all votes being counted.

5. I commit to upholding the peaceful transfer of power as mandated by the US Constitution.
