The gala concert is co-conceived and co-directed by Gary John La Rosa, who appeared with Topol in the 1990 Broadway revival, Theodore Bikel in the 1995 tour, and is the director of dozens of regional Fiddler productions, and Erik Liberman, who toured North America as "Motel" opposite Topol, Harvey Fierstein and Theodore Bikel from 2009-2010.
