Tickets for the highly anticipated Championship clash between Bristol and Hartpury are set to go on sale next week.

The game, which will be the biggest game Hartpury have ever hosted at the Gillman’s Ground, will be played on April 28 and kick-off at 3pm.

A temporary stand will be built for the game to raise the capacity of the ground from 1,980 to just shy of 3,000.

Tickets for the game are set to go on sale on Monday all will be priced between £18 and £26. It represents a price increase from the £15 that has been charged throughout the season.

This increase could see the game worth over £65,000 to Hartpury.

There will be 1,388 seats in the temporary stand opposite the current main stand with seated tickets priced at £26.

Standing tickets will be available for £18 and children can get a standing ticket free of charge.

Students will, as they have been all season, be able to gain admission for free. However, if the fixture sells out they will not be able to gain entry due to safety regulations.

In a statement Hartpury said: “It has been a complex process planning this day and many of our normal policies have had to change for us to be able to adhere to the safety regulations and cover the increased costs.

“Our policy to students is that they can turn up on the day and get free entrance subject to capacity. If this game doesn’t sell out this will remain the same.

“We will keep everyone up to date as ticket sales progress and if we are at capacity will advise all fans not to travel without a ticket.

“Tickets in the existing stand will not go on sale yet. Over half of them are already reserved for hospitality guests and we are giving staff, patrons and season ticket holders priority on purchasing these. These will also be used for disabled guests as they are ground level.”

Hartpury are expected to be safe from relegation by the time the fixture, which is the last game of the season, comes round. Bristol look safe bets to have won the Championship title by that point and could receive the trophy after the game at the Gillman’s Ground.
