The Guide to War - How to win and how to have impact

  1. This is a guide to War in "A thinking ape" games. You might ask what makes you such an expert on war? Answer: I'm cursed_soul

    Summary of Club wars:

    Two clubs will engage in a "system war". The System war makes use of the existing PIMD tracking and war system where one side challenges the other club and the other side accepts. The war will start 24 hours after the FIRST admin/owner accepts the challenge. It does not matter when the last acceptance happens.

    If anyone rejects the war challenge, then the entire war is rejected.

    The winner is decided after 48 hours from the start of the war and is determined by the amount of CASH each side makes. The side that makes the most CASH wins.

    How to Win:

    Since cash is the deciding factor, you must focus every single activity of your club members on making the most cash possible against active enemy war participants. If you attack someone NOT active in the war, you are contributing NOTHING to the overall total.

    These are the main strategies to ensuring you grow your gold

    1. Avoid having people leave the club/war that have contributed alot to your war total, when players leave, the amount of cash they contributed Leaves with them.

    2. Attack the opponents that you KNOW you can beat and that give you the most money. It does not make sense to throw yourself at the top and lose. That will waste your troops.

    3. Attack when you are at FULL or near FULL. Never attack more then 4-7 times otherwise you will take longer to regen back and effectively be EASIER to beat.

    4. Don't be cheap. Use Str and Int pots to beat their defensive pots. If you do not buy all the defense pots. You SHOULD NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE WAR.

    5. Attack in groups of 2 if your club is weaker. Stronger member weakens the target, and you jump in and make huge money off a normally stronger opponent

    6. Call out your attacks and who attacks you. If you know who is online on the opposing side, you know who's just used troops and who's NOT actively defending.

    These are the main strategies to ensure you DO NOT allow the enemy to make gold

    1. Avoid activating in the war if you can not be there from the start of the war. Why? if you are active from the start, you will be free to hit target from THE VERY BEGINNING. All your tutors that you didn't buy back? That gold will be slowly taken away by each enemy hit.

    2. If your not going to be able to war for at least most of the 2 days, don't bother to be there. Your just a target. If you can't be there until the last day. Join in the last day.

    3. If you are being ganged, ask for help. Immediately either use doc notes/points to regenerate to full and "shake off" the attackers OR ask your club to retaliate. They just unloaded on you, so they should be easy money.

    4. If your paying out alot, ie: losing, you need to turtle. Pin yourself against weaker enemies and stop being the weak link.

    5. Adjust your build accordingly. If your an unbalanced build? You better have huge tutor bonus to compensates or a playing style that stops you from being a cash cow for the other side.

    Advanced tactics for the experienced Club:

    1. Go to war with only your best, most active club members.

    2. track the win/loss ratios on your club's walls so that you can see who's the weak link. Have people not active in the war, pin your "weak links".

    3. have you weaker members spam prank to burn the defensive pots and weaken the enemy


    I'm not going to discuss the dirty tactics but you can figure them out yourself.

  5. I don't actually believe in sticky. It's best to let ppl decide what is important. if they like it. they will read it ask people to read it.

    If it's useless it will float to the bottom.

  11. If all start useing this strategy , need new for win lol . And better 5 times hit after regen . Tutors in full (100m) . Defense pots all bought . Attack pots useing when enemy use defense pots . If you want win only :)

    The farmer..aka you, me, trick..all the smwrt people who play the hoe its ment to be played? i shouldnt do this butt...

    How to deal with farmer
    •When they hit you make sure you comment back on there wall swearing at them. This makes sure they know you are strong.
    •If they farm again swear some more, but make sure its not offensive.
    •make sure you lose all your tutors and defensive pots so they think you have givin up
    •if it still continues please wall meid be happy to farm you..i mean them...


    See..never get a farmer to write a guid on how to stop us using our deadly weapons
     
  13. You may also want to add;

    At the end of the war, the winning side earns 20% of what they earned -then is distributed to members based on what they earn.

    E.g
     
  14. A beats B and A earnt 1,000,000

    Team A gets 200000

    Benny gets 600k in war and cursed got 400k

    Benny will receive 120k from that 200k (60%) cursed will earn 80k (40%)

    This is a bonus to the plunder you earned during war, also due toserver lag you may not receive it till 24hours. If it's been 24hours you may want to email support@athinkingape.com

    Not sure if you want to include it cursed, but may stop questions I'm not sure what people ask you.
