Saddle bronc rider Luke Reno is taking the PRCA by storm, until he's thrown off of a horse ending up unconscious. Straight-laced doctor Daisy Blackwell avoids taking unnecessary risks, both in and out of the Bear Creek Community hospital. When Luke regains consciousness in the ER and saves Daisy from an attack by an unstable patient, she finds herself agreeing to dinner but never expects the feelings that follow. When she finds out about Luke's dangerous occupation her instincts want her to run but her heart has other plans.
Romance author by night, pharmacist by day, Amy Gale loves rock music and the feel of sand between her toes. She attended Wilkes University where she graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. In addition to writing, she enjoys baking, scary movies, rock concerts, and reading books at the beach. She lives in the lush forest of Northeastern Pennsylvania with her husband, six cats, and golden retriever.
Let me start by saying that i am not a fan of romance written in 1st person. That being said, I felt it was rushed and needed more of an ending. Where did they go? Did the romance go short term? Did they go the distance? Did she move back to New York after the trial?
Very disappointing. First, Southerners do not speak this way. I think the dialogue was written after watching movies with fake Southerners in them. Second, I thought that this was going to be cleaner and sweeter. That is my fault, but I was unprepared for the amount and severity of the cursing in this. I mention it as a warning to anyone else who makes my mistake. Third, there were several points that didn't make sense about the hospital and the police. But the worst part of this was Daisy's constant harping on all her worries. She has some big stuff going on (which is never fully resolved), but she obsesses over every tiny detail. She was like a young adult facing life for the first time, not an ER doctor.
Daisy is an emergency room doctor with a secret that has her in hiding. When they wheel in Luke after he was thrown from a horse during a rodeo, she knows she's in trouble because of their intense instant attraction. But Daisy can't seem to fight her feelings for Luke... even when it brings the reason she was hiding right to her. Now, the question is can they make things work when everything hits the fan?💗😲🔥💕

Great story. Well written. It gets a 4 because it just ends. I love the Bear Creek Rodeo books .are you writing sequels? I will say this You do want the reader to keep reading. You are leaving me in limbo. I finish what happens in my head. No eplouge just ends. It's like a good movie and you just know what the finishing scene is going to be and then it just ends. You say "what, that's it!. You keep writing and I'll keep reading. Thanks.

Daisy is a Dr. working the emergency room when Luke is brought in. He is a rodeo rider and he was thrown from the horse. From the moment he woke up he pursues Daisy and actually saves her from a deranged patient.
I loved the many different things that were going on this book. A lot of things that aren’t what they seem with a love story in the middle. I really liked this book.

I enjoyed this story, Resisting the Cowboy, the characters in the story are in a in a humorous, at times, suspense and romantic tangle. The author has done a nice job of telling the story. Fun and entertaining to read!
Good, but...At first I thought this was going to be a quick, easy, cute read. The first 50% lived up to that expectation but then it was like someone else wrote the second half of the book. And then it ended abruptly. I definitely feel like I missed something.
It was a great book but missing the ending... This is why I tend to cringe with “free on kindle unlimited” No I do not have KU because I avoid novellas or books missing parts.
She never expected to find a cowboy to fall for. He was a free spirit not wanting to settle down. Good storyline and good characters to catch your fancy every step of the way, with a good HEA.
