We're not all the same - inclusive communications

Rica's research for the Communications Consumer Panel (CCP) involved face-to-face interviews with 41 people with different impairments who'd been in contact with their communications provider in the last 12 months. People talked about good and bad experiences with their communications providers. The report is available online.

Rica Research Exchange 2016

Our recent Research Exchange was chaired by Dr Phil Friend (pictured above). Over 50 attendees including RicaWatch panel members, service providers and Rica Trustees
took part in workshops to consider:
  • How can organisations better address the needs of people affected by dementia?
  • Is there more to communicating with disabled customers than large print?
Presentations included one from Lorraine Brown of Memorybilia who talked about living with dementia and her mystery shopping to help create dementia friendly environments.
