Princess Lenora Celeste Beatrice Arabella Pembrook had an unusual childhood. She was raised to be a Queen—the first Queen of Wessco.

It’s a big deal.

When she’s crowned at just nineteen, the beautiful young monarch is prepared to rule. She’s charming, clever, confident and cunning.

What she isn’t… is married.

It’s her advising council’s first priority. It’s what Parliament is demanding, and what her people want.

Lenora has no desire to tie herself to a man—particularly one who only wants her for her crown. But compromises must be made and royals must do their duty.

Even Queens. Especially them.

**

Years ago, Edward Langdon Richard Dorian Rourke, walked away from his title and country. Now he’s an adventurer—climbing mountains, exploring jungles, going wherever he wants, when he wants—until family devotion brings him home.

And a sacred promise keeps him there.

To Edward, the haughty, guarded little Queen is intriguing, infuriating…and utterly captivating. Wanting her just might drive him mad—or become his greatest adventure.

**

Within the cold, stone walls of the royal palace—mistrust threatens, wills clash, and an undeniable, passionate love will change the future of the monarchy forever.

Every dynasty has a beginning. Every legend starts with a story.

This is theirs.

Every dynasty has a beginning. Every legend starts with a story. This is ours.

Leonra and Edward’s prequel is the story we never knew we needed. If you are fans of Emma Chase’s Royally series, you know and love Queen Leonora. If you haven’t read any of the previous books 1- get on that right away because they’re amazing and 2- you don’t technically have to. This book can be read as a stand-alone ;)

Leonora grew up knowing she would one day be the Queen. She just didn’t expect it would happen so soon. At nineteen, when her father passes away, she accepts the crown and sits on the throne. This is the first time there has been a crowned Queen. There are expectations, and one of those expectations is that Leonora is to be married. All the suitable husbands suggested are no one Leonora wants at her side. She is strong, independent, and doesn’t NEED anyone.

Then there is her best friend, Thomas. He would be a partner for her. Someone she can trust, someone who she doesn’t have romantic feelings for (and vice versa). Something again unexpected happens and Thomas is no longer an option, but his older brother Edward is. With Edward, Leonora has met her match. Gah! I adored Leonora and Edward together. They were everything.
I was made for this . . . for her. To cherish her, protect her and challenge her, to guide her and follow her—to be the man she needs, so she can be the woman, the queen, she was always meant to be.

I could go on and on about how fantastic, sexy, romantic, and swoony this couple is. Their love story truly wowed me and swept me right off my feet. They were an unexpected match, but a perfect pairing. This book warmed my heart, brought me to tears a few times, and was much more steamy than I expected- and I mean that in the best way possible! It also had some of the humor I’ve come to know and love from Emma Chase.

Royally Yours is unforgettable, stunning, intoxicating, and unputdownable. It’s an epic romance and one you need to read. Seriously, no one does royal romances better than this author!

Narrator: Katerina finished Royally Yours within hours. She sighed, tucked her Kindle close to her heart, founded a sect dedicated to the worship of Edward and then...things got slightly out of hand.

Prosecutor: YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.
Me: This can't be happening. This can't be happening. This can't be happening.
Prosecutor: How on Earth -
Me: Excuse me for a moment, I think I'm having a panic attack.
Prosecutor: *mumbles* She is detained, handcuffed, facing serious charges, of course she's having a panic attack. But then, she could be thinking of a book. An Emma Chase book, if I had to bet.
Me: Did I hear Emma Chase?
Prosecutor: *reluctantly* Yes, I was wondering if she forced you to commit another felony.
Me: As a matter of fact she did.
Prosecutor: Of course she did. I know I'm going to regret this, but please, tell me what happened.
Me: I read Royally Yours -
Prosecutor: Which one is it?
Me: It's the story of the first queen of Wesco, Lenora, and her sweeping love story with Edward Langton Richard Dorian Rourke. Also known as Dirty Edward.
Prosecutor: And?
Me: And it was freaking amazing. My chest swelled with all the glorious feelings; there were moments I couldn't fight the tears, and moments my entire body was burning thanks to the delicious chemistry and Edward's wicked ways. This man was a masterpiece, all masculine and sexy and -
Prosecutor: Yes yes I'm well aware of the male characters created by Emma Chase. I fail to see the problem, though.
Me: Well, Emma Chase has proved that she can write the most sensational, sweet, and all-encompassing modern fairytales, and I wanted to feel like a part of her stories, to get a glimpse of Lenora's world, so -
Prosecutor: THAT'S WHY YOU ATTEMPTED TO STEAL THE CROWN JEWELS?
Me: I was going to borrow them.
Prosecutor: Borrow them.
Me: Yes, for a day or two, only to get into Lenora's mind, to grasp her responsibilities and sacrifices, her determination to stand up in a world dominated by men and make a change for those who can't! She is such a strong and empowering figure, compassionate yet firm. She is incredible!
Prosecutor: So let me get it straight, if Emma Chase wrote a book about a bank robbery, or hired killers, would you consider stealing or, I don't know, KILLING SOMEONE in order to feel closer to her characters? Are you serious?
Me: *gulps* I didn't say that. Of course, if the hypothetical killer had even half of Edward's sexuality and tenderness I would-
Prosecutor: For your own sake please stop talking! What am I going to do with you?
Me: May I suggest something? It is clear that this was not my brightest idea, and in view of the steam and the feelings that clouded my judgement, you could rule that I am incapable of criminal liability because, you know, fangirl and stuff.
Prosecutor: It has come to my attention that criminal law is not your forte, judging by your bar results...
Me: *shrugs* At least I passed. And how do you know that? Does the term personal data ring a bell?
Prosecutor: That's irrelevant. Let's make a deal. I'll read Royally Yours and see for myself whether it constitutes solid ground for your behaviour, and you'll stop breaking the law because of Emma Chase! It's the third time in a row!
Me: I can't make any promises.
Prosecutor: *glares*
Me: But I will try.

Narrator: Reader, if the uptight, fun-police Prosecutor sat down and read it (and - spoiler- he loved it), so should you.

The ”ROYALLY” series is by far my most absolute favorite works written by the AMAZING, Emma Chase!! Each book is a treasure and who knew the story that had the swoon-worthiest of romances and a fairy tale like flair would be the matriarch’s, Queen Lenora's love story. She has come across tough as nails and all business, but her heart was overflowing with love for her soul mate and the beautiful family they would be blessed with.

Lenny and Edward’s romance swept me off my feet and I loved getting lost in their world on a cold and windy Saturday afternoon. I really wouldn’t mind if this series went on for the unforeseeable future!!

Alright.
So, this is the story of how Grandma and Grandpa fell in love.

description

And it was a good story! I was all the way interested in Lenora and her life before her marriage. <--which took up a great deal more of the book than I expected for a romance.
But she was a fully fleshed-out woman that I reallyreallyreally liked. Honestly, Chase would have left out all the romance-y stuff and I would have still loved this book.

description

Now, that's not to say the romance was badly done. It wasn't! I'm just saying that the story-story was good enough to carry this entire book. <--for me, at least.
However, I also thought the love story between Edward and Lenora was very sweet and very well done.

description

Full Disclosure: I have not read any of the previous stories in the Royally series, so I have no idea how this one stacks up. The good news is that you definitely don't need to have read those other books to enjoy this one.

READ MY REVIEW ON THE BLOG

When I started Royally Yours I knew deep in my bones that it would be magical. Of course I don't expect anything else from Emma Chase but this installment in the Royally series is a little different. Sure, it has the author's trademark humor, swoon worthy her and wonderful heroine but it's way more emotional than the other three.

From the other books we know that Queen Lenora is the unmovable object to her grandsons' moving ones. She always seems to draw up a facade and only drops it for the ones she loves. Royally Yours guides us through the first 20+ years of her life, which were saturated with love but also tragedy that doesn't stop even for a future queen.
Every dynasty has a beginning. Every legend starts with a story. This is ours.

This time I would like to talk about a side character first who so thoroughly captured my heart. I adored Lenora's friendship with Thomas. Theirs was true, honest and full of innocent love only two long time friends share.
He’s become my rock and my fun skipping stone. The someone I’d been missing my whole life. My friend.

Lenora was a sweet teenager with a wild streak. From an early age she has been prepared for one role only: being the ruler of her country. Being a child, acting like one was never in her cards. One of the most important lessons is to never show emotions in public.

After the loss of her parents she had to grow up fast and be the first queen of Wessco which isn't at all the awesome job they made us think it is in first grade. Lenora has to fight a lot of resistance, and it's pretty lonely if there is no one who has your back...
Lenora's loneliness made my heart ache, she was conditioned to not show emotion so when things got bad she cried behind closed doors. Good thing she met Thomas's brother, however, who would soon become her closest ally and biggest champion.
I was made for this . . . for her. To cherish her, protect her and challenge her, to guide her and follow her— to be the man she needs, so she can be the woman, the queen, she was always meant to be.

Edward was everything I want from a male main character. He was absolutely smitten with Lenora, her spirit which she showed when she was among familiar faces, her stubbornness and he loved to rile her up. He had a dirty mouth on him and taught Lenny that it's absolutely OK to be not as queenly proper in the bedroom. With Edward, Lenora was a woman first and with him she could be the wild girl she had inside of her. Although she outranked him there was never a feeling of imbalance in their relationship. Edward was possessive of his firecracker queen and spoke his mind. I adored their relationship that was based on honesty and acceptance and a soul-deep connection and love that grew naturally.
She’s ethereal— a heavenly creature and a sin-tempting spirit all in one— and she takes my breath away.

I didn't expect this story to be so deeply emotional although we got a little of Lenora's backstory in the other books. Royally Yours is an absolutely romantic fairytale that managed to make me laugh and cry at the same time. This may be the story you didn't see coming, yet you'll fall head over heels in love with it. I had my heart in my throat from the first to the last page. Lenora and Edward's epic love was perfection and I wouldn't mind getting more books in this series.
My wife, my love, my Queen . . . my life.

Lenore and Edward.

I didn't read any teasers or anything Emma posted about this upcoming book - so I was pretty surprised to find out this would be somewhat of a historical romance. Lenore is the grandma of the royals from the previous books. And now we get to hear her story. In the 1950ies, shortly after her mom dies, her father dies too and suddenly Lenore is queen at the young age of 19.

And the whole country and all politicians tell her she needs a husband. But she's not interested. Until Edward comes along. He's the older brother of her good friend Thomas and he's back from his adventures ... to marry a queen??

☺☺ READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN!

description

Eeeeeep, finally book #4 in this amazing series!

Such an adorable romance! A sad romance. So heartbreaking and so full of loss and sacrifices!

I just loved this book. I kind of cried all through it. But I also awwwed and smiled. Edward is so adorable and he brings out this sweet girl in the coldish queen. I just adored those two.

description

This was the perfect romance.
Sweet, funny, sad, adorable.

The only thing I hated and that broke my heart a bit while reading - and I know it's all fictional, but still - we know, from reading all the previous books, that Edward is already dead in the present time. Lenore is already a widow when we first meet her. They had a long and beautiful life together, but it's still so sad to think about. Ugh.☺

ROYALLY YOURS was another amazingly beautiful book in Emma's Royally series! FUNNY, SEXY, ADORABLE & HEARTBREAKING! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Edward - this one is MINE! ☺

Making a life with you will be my greatest adventure, Lenora.”

If you're anything like me, then there's been one character throughout this entire series that has absolutely captivated you. When I saw that Queen Lenora will be getting a book, I just about squealed in excited glee.

This book is a slight step away from the tone of the rest of the series. Yes, it's a wonderfully swoony royal romance told in a way that only Emma Chase can write, but it's also more. So much more. Royally Yours is Lenora's story. It's not just the story of how she fell in love. It's the story of how she became queen. The life events that shaped her into the strong and independent woman that she is. It's a story of her hidden vulnerabilities and devastating losses. It's a story of how her duty became her greatest joy. And it's a story of how life's saddest moments also led her to her heart's greatest joy. It's also a story that begins in the 50's.

While the book read super fast, I'll admit it took a minute for me to get into. Unlike the others in this series, the romance doesn't quite begin right away. But after sitting back and thinking on my rating, I don't think it would have been right to write Lenora's story any other way. The reader needed this background to connect with her. We needed to see the vivacious woman behind the icy exterior. Lenora's story isn't an easy one. It's one that made me laugh and had me breaking down in tears. It was real. It wasn't sugar coated. And it completely sucked me in.

The last thing the song queen wants, is to stand in the shadow of a man. But when her crown is at risk, she agrees to an arranged marriage.

Edward left his title behind to travel the world. An adventurer at heart, he never thought he'd find himself back in the place he couldn't wait to leave behind. Lenora's ice queen presence almost fools him at first, but then he gets a glimpse at the girl that she hides beneath the queen front, and he can't help but fall.

The romance is easy, without any angst or added drama to take away from the heart of the book. While I wish there was slightly more development with the romance, as much as we had with Lenora's backstory, it was still satisfying. You can't help but feel 100% connected to this couple. There's just something about them that simply draws you in without any added flare. I adore this series, and this book was the perfect icing on the cake. A must read for all Emma Chase fans.

➽ KITTY KATS CRAZY ABOUT BOOKS

ROYALLY YOURS: Is a full length romance novel in the Author Emma Chase's 'Royally' series. This can be read as a complete stand alone. This is Lenore’s and Edwards story.

We’re first introduced to Lenore in the the 1950’s, a significant change was going to occur and shape her life drastically because it's on her sweet sixteenth birthday that her mother collapses and passes away, a day of celebration turned into a day of death, nothing will ever be the same again, but one good thing that came out of that day was a friendship with a boy she made named Thomas. He turns out to be one of her truest, sweetest friends to ever grace her presence.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Not too long after her father also passes away which leaves her vulnerable at the age of nineteen thrusting her head first into the roll of Queen which she slots into perfectly, though she is a force to be reckoned with and not a push over as some might think.

Now the castle is in an uproar and is on a fast track of finding her a suitable husband as it's unheard of it in her times to be left single.

It turns out my father had anticipated this day after all. He made a list of potential suitable husbands. All men suggested are quickly shut down until a suggestion comes by Thomas that his older brother Henry should marry her. What was originally an arranged marriage of some sort turns into so so much more. These two were just so perfect for each other.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I’ve not read the previous books within this series, so I didn’t really know what to expect, so I had no expectations when going into this, other than other bloggers and readers reviews stating how much they have loved this series, and that's where I’ve been kicking myself, I really need/want to read the previous books!! I read this in one sitting, I loved these two characters, loved how they came to be, all the feels, heartbreaking, swoon worthy hotness, which had me straight away one clicking the previous books.

EMMA CHASE REIGNS SUPREME!
This series is beyond amazing! I simply can’t with how much I’ve enjoyed meeting these characters. It’s the gold standard for royal romance. The best on the market. Prince Edward is the MOST! I swooned so hard, I very nearly fainted.

This book has it all. It tugged at my heartstrings, screamed Girl Power, and of course made me weak in the knees. Swoonfest, remember? 😂😂 The Romance is so freaking well executed. The “ love lessons” though! Yummy!

Lenny and Edward were paerfect in every way. Both strong, opionated, and passionate people who loved each other fiercely. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Okay, there was one thing I wanted. More at the end. It felt slightly choppy, though I certainly enjoyed seeing these characters grow together.

I absolutely loved it!! I may have cried thru parts of it, but it was quite amazing. Emma Chase could write an SQL textbooks and I’d one-click it. She consistently delivers amazingly well written books that please. Highly recommended!

THAT PROLOGUE!!! The prologue of Royally Yours gave me chills all by itself. Goosebumps. Heart flutters. A rush of instant endorphins. I was IMMEDIATELY rapt. I was so beyond anxious to dive right in to whatever Emma Chase would serve up in Royally Yours, ready for the romance, for the passion, for the exquisite grandeur and the royal tradition. I was ready to get lost in an unforgettable romance, in a story that would undoubtedly live up to every promise set forth by the intensity of that prologue. I was ready and anxious and so over the moon excited... and still, I couldn't have anticipated how breathtakingly magical this royally epic this love story would be.

We knew her as Her Majesty the Queen. We knew her as the mother of the sweet and sexy princes that we fell so hard and fast for in Emma Chase's previous royal romances. But we never really know her until now, until her epic life story is brought to life in Royally Yours and IT. IS. MAGNIFICENT. Lenora and Edward's romance is STUNNING. Brought together by a common loss, a marriage of convenience ensues and what unfolds on these pages is a classic, timeless royal love story that I could not have possibly loved more. I was in the biggest reading rut before I got my hands on this novel. I went from being unable to connect with anything to being unable to put this book down.

There's a profound sadness about this story though. So often we read royal romances that feel glamorous and shiny, sexy and decadent. But this story is different. This queen, my heart ached for her. Queen Lenora's isolation, her grief, her loneliness are a palpable entity in Royally Yours. There's a shadow of loss that clouds her story and it gripped me in ways I simply did not expect. I hurt for her. I could feel her solitude, her silent despair, her longing for a connection with someone after all that she'd lost. I turned every page of this story with an achy heart, consumed by every ounce of her journey. And there's so freaking much to feel. This is a story that felt so unbelievably beautiful but also stings painfully at times. It's a barrage of intense emotion the entire way through and I already wish I could go back and experience it all over again.

I have to admit that as I read, I kept catching myself searching for some missing inexplicable thing. I'm a romance reader, obviously, so I've come to expect the cliche aspects of any good romance novel: the first bits of attraction that tend to catalyze any romantic relationship, the "fall" into love that coincides with your garden variety love story. I eagerly anticipate the first taste of desire, the sting of reluctant attraction, the lust and longing that typical couples endure in the early stages of a relationship. So, for a bit there I was missing something I couldn't pinpoint. It was just hard for me to wrap my head and my heart around the impending nuptials between two characters who hadn't even kissed yet. But that's when it all clicked and I realized what a stellar job Emma Chase did in crafting Lenora and Edwards's romance. This royal romance is EVERYTHING it was ever meant to be and in the end I realized that there wasn't a single thing missing from ANY of it. This is an arranged marriage, a marriage of convenience at the start. And everything that typically comes first comes later... all in its due time... and when it does, IT. IS. SPECTACULAR. How often do we read royal romances where the older generation speaks of their own arranged marriage, their own fall into love after their obligation to wed was fulfilled? So often we're told those stories after the fact but we never get to see what that looks like firsthand. Here, with Royally Yours, Emma Chase illustrates that complicated, unorthodox dynamic between two characters who agree to wed even though they don't know each other yet, even though their attraction is evident but the depth of their feelings hasn't had the opportunity to develop... and it's stunning. It's beautiful. It's all consuming and unputdownable and I was enthralled. I've loved this series so completely and it all comes full circle here in this book. It truly is magic what happens on these pages, and I can't wait to do an entire series reread as soon as I can.

One of my absolute favorite reads of 2018. Emma Chase wrote an absolutely enthralling story about a strong woman in a powerful position that yearned to be seen for more than her role. Edward charmed not only Lenora but me as well. I couldn’t be more in love with a story!

I laughed and I cried my eyes out. The book was the total experience and did something very few books can do after reading so many of them: it made me feel.

The plot was very interesting. The characters were unique, and developed exceptionally well. The chemistry between Lenora and Edward was HOT!!! I was so happy to get insight into Lenora and her actions in the previous books. The writing and pacing were flawless.

This one is not to be missed!!

Royally Yours is the prequel novel to the Royally series and takes us back to when Queen Lenora found, not only love, but her true power to rule a country. Growing up she always knew that she would one day be Queen and would reign over the people of Wessco, which led to a very sheltered life of rules and being a "proper lady." But she didn't expect it would be at such a young age, or that her council wouldn't listen to her until she was a married woman. Or that her betrothed would be her best friend's brother, Edward, who is far from "proper" and definitely doesn't care about rules.

I have to say, I was honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed this story. I wasn't really sure what to expect from it since it was going back in time a little but that didn't bother me at all. I loved Lenora and getting to see her grow in confidence throughout the story. It was really fun to watch as she ruled the country without backing down from what she wanted and the plans she had.

As for the romance, I felt like it was pretty light but it blended perfectly with the rest of the story. The main focus was definitely Lenora but with Edward and the sweetness he brought to the book it made her character even better. Those moments where she just let go and wasn't worried about her image were my favorite parts, especially when those moments included Edward being super sweet.

Overall, this is a book well worth reading. Even if you haven't discovered the brilliance that is the Royally series yet, you can still go ahead and read this book first.

NO WOMAN IS BORN A QUEEN, no matter the title attached to her name at birth.
Kings are crowned. But queens . . . queens rise.

The book tells the story of her first years of her life until she was about 20 years old,
how she became a queen,
how she fell in love.

Lenora became a queen before she became a woman and fell in love with Edward before she even met him.

Edward Rourke is the most exciting man I’ve never met.

I think this is the most sentimental heartfelt story of the series. A swoon-worthy fairy-tale.

My Edward . . .
A voice whispers in my head—it’s the first time I’ve thought of this man I’m going to marry as mine.
Mine.
What a lucky girl I am.

“No woman is born a Queen, no matter the title attached to her name at birth. Kings are crowned. But queens.. queens rise.”

Oh how I’ve missed your Royal debacles Emma Chase!! Royally Yours was the perfect weekend read for me and I devoured this book in one sitting! It was fierce, female empowering, sexy, emotional, and let’s not forget extremely elegant. Fans of the previous royal books are going to absolutely fall in love with this one as well.

Born to rule the kingdom as her own, Lenora Pembrook has always known that her life is different from other people. Her father is the King in future’s time, she will be Queen and looking after an entire country. But that title unfortunately came too soon and with that also came a huge responsibility. if there is one thing you should know about Lenora is that she is a strong fearless woman who has never backed down from anything and she’s not about to start now. When the advisory board suggests that in order for to be taken more seriously is to get married, she balks at the idea but soon realizes that it’s the right thing to do.

But who will be the perfect suitor for a woman who is the ruler of a nation?

Edward has had his fair share of being smothered in to the proper royal family. Years of being away and traveling on his own has made him into a free spirited tough person who makes his own rules and he wouldn’t have it any other way. When a telegram message brings him home, Edward knows that from this moment on, life will never be the same.

I truly adored this story and I loved the fact that Emma always manages to give us a little bit of humor in all of her stories. Whether it’s an enormous laugh out loud moment, or just a simple giggle, for a few seconds, she manages to make us smile and I have always appreciated that. I couldn’t get enough of Edward and Lenora together if I’m being honest and I felt that their connection was genuine. Now don’t get me started when those two were in a room alone!!

If you’ve already any of this author’s work, then I don’t need to tell you that you should read this one. Just do it with a crown on your head and I guarantee you’ll feel like the Queen you are.

Royally Yours is the fourth book in Royally series and it's about Princess Lenora Celeste Beatrice Arabella Pembrook, you probably know her in Royally Screwed as your majesty Queen Lenora. Quite frankly, I didn't expect it'll be her story and I wasn't a huge fan of hers because she's coldhearted and stoic. I'm glad Emma Chase sheds a light of her story to understand character more.

Princess Lenora has a different upbringing. Her parents raised her to be prim and proper. She never had a chance to play like normal kids do and she craves for affection from her parents. She must abide the royal standards because she's born to be a Queen.

"I may be a new queen, a young queen, even a pretty queen -- but the fact remains, I am the queen. Your queen. I'm all you've got, gents. I'm all Parliament's got. There is no prince coming to curb me. The next man on this council who brings up the topic of my marriage to anyone… will no longer be on this council. Is that perfectly clear?"

Queen Lenora is a beautiful, regal, sharp, independent and confident lady. Behind those qualities, she's a lonely lady. At nineteen years old, she's crowned as the first Queen of Wessco. It's her responsibility to do what's best for her people and she desires change in the monarchy. However, these changes will be accomplish if she has the support of the council and fellow citizens of Wessco. They want her to get married. Even though it's the last thing in her mind, she wants a partner who'll love her for the way she is and not just for the title. That person happens to be her best friend's brother, Edward Langdon Richard Dorian Rourke.

Duke Edward spends his time traveling around the world and soul-searching. After circumstances, he returns for his brother Thomas. They had a serious talk and he must fulfill his promise to him. He only heard Lenora thru Thomas' letters and when he meets her in person, he's fascinated by her beauty and personality. She may be stoic but he sees a woman full of life and charm. He just found a new purpose in life. Loving Lenora and be her lifetime partner.

Even Ice Queens have heartwarming stories. Your majesties Queen Lenora and Prince Edward have a wonderful journey.Though they're betrothed, there is a traditional courtship. It makes their love story romantic and sweet. Edward is a gentleman, sexy and an affectionate lover. He learned a lot during his travels and immersing in communities. Socializing with people with different cultural backgrounds helps him to connect and empathize. I love he shared those experiences with Lenora so she can communicate more effectively.

Queen Lenora carries herself with poise. She's a badass queen. It's nice to see her character transition and I appreciate seeing her side of story. I just grew to love her more. Her council is dominated by men and they underestimated her capabilities and I love how she takes a firm stance on her decisions. She never bows down to them and her most trusted people supported her.

Overall, I adore Royally Yours. It's beautifully told and simply romantic I swooned! 😍💗 This book is more of a prequel than a sequel. I still recommend you read the series in chronological order especially the first three books. If you love Royal romances or contemporary romances, I recommend this series.

Holy hell!

Royally Yours was the perfect fairytale. Sweet. Touching. Sexy.

Again Emma Chase delivers a royal fairytale of a love story that was heartwarming, touching and sexy - and perfect in all regards.

If I'm honest I wasn't sure what to expect of Royally Yours. I even talked to TJ about it, who felt the same. Since this book actually happens in the past, I was worried about the outcome and the way the author would wrap it up - especially in an epilogue. Good thing, there wasn't a reason to worry.

The author delivered a fantastic novel.

A true royal fairytale. Sweet, funny, sexy and poignant. There wasn't really anything I didn't like. I just wished it could have been longer. But besides that the story couldn't have been more perfect.

Lenora is so poised, and regal. A true queen. But behind closed doors and away from prying eyes she became this funny, and witty person. She was a true delight. But boy was I proud when she stepped into her queenly role. Lenora impressed me by how smart and regal she ruled. She was the best royal character I've read so far.

Her romance with Edward was a wonderful slow burn. It was believable, since it was an arranged marriage, and wonderfully loving and checked all my boxes. And Edward couldn't have been more perfect for her. He was in all regards the best prince consort she could have asked for. Supportive when needed. An advisor but also a confidant. Someone who had only her best interests at heart. He was with one word - amazing!! He gave her the love and joy she didn't have growing up as future queen. And together they were a power couple.

Like I said, I don't think the author could have written a more fitting or perfect telling of Lenora and Edward's love story. It was all kinds of perfect.

Title: Royally Yours (Royally #4)
Author: Emma Chase
Publication Date: October 30,2018

RoyallyYours teaser2.jpg

I did everything the other way round.
Royally Yours is the first book I've read from the Royally Series and MY LORD did I LOVE this book!
I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did.

Perfection! I tell you, This book was PERFECTION!!!!

I can't stress how utterly perfect this book is...This book encapsulated every emotion I want to go through when I read a romance novel: Beautiful friendship, trails and tribulations , sacrifices, heartbreaking moments, periods where you feel hollowed out with the gravity of lose and loneliness and lets not forget that it does have envy worthy connection with a super hot dude hahaha

This book made me feel such immense loss and on the flip side gave me such great joy of love and devotion. So when I say that this book is utterly beautiful, I mean it.

Note: Lemme tell you something, Have you guys watched The Crown on Netflix? certain parts of the book gave me a sense of deja vu of the show...a few scenes here and there had similar characteristics that felt familiar. If you've read the book, did you notice it too?

I haven't read Emma Chase in YEARS!

I'm so chuffed that my reintroduction to this author's writing is with Royally Yours—Queen Lenora and Prince Edward are everything.

From undeniable passion that simmers, the beautiful romance that unfolds and the constant battle of wills, Lenora and Edward have an unforgettable, compelling romance.

Every dynasty has a beginning. Every legend starts with a story.

Queen Lenora Pembrook is an admirable character. She's strong, fierce and independent. Coupled with also being witty, intelligent and ambitious, she's an unstoppable, awe-inspiring young woman. Being surrounded by dictating advisors doesn't quell her determination—neither does it make Lenora a pushover.

However, beneath her outward appearance is someone living in profound sadness, suffering in isolation and floating through the palace in loneliness. It makes Queen Lenora a more realistic, understandable character. And reminds readers that royal romances aren't always filled with glamour and decadence.

"Ah, but that's nice," Edward says.
"What's nice?" I glance around to see what he's talking about. What's made his eyes go dark and his voice rough. But he's only looking at me.

Prince Edward is so brilliantly and wonderfully spectacular.

Having abandoned his country and title in search for deeper meaning in life, Edward's without doubt a free-spirited and rebellious man. Right with Lenora, I was thoroughly enamoured by Edward's adventures and encounters during his travels that he recounts in letter sent to Thomas.

Beyond this, he is also flirtatious, romantic, sweet, oftentimes wicked and absolutely delightful! He ensures Lenora remains grounded and level-headed, as well as being an attentive sounding board when Her Majesty needs to unleash her frustrations and worries. Edward is the perfect counterpart.

Lenora is my purpose. She is my reason.

Emma Chase's writing is as fantastic as I remember—her words crafted the beautiful, blossoming romance between Lenora and Edward, after all! Her characters are sassy, filled with snark and witticism, realism and depth.

I adore this couple’s romance as it is a perfect combination of sweet and sultry, humorous and emotion filled after being brought together by mutual loss and marriage of convenience. My only "issue" is that Edward and Lenora's official meeting took too long, making it feel as if they didn't have enough time to fully explore their relationship.

4 3/4 "My joy, my heart, my home." Stars!

LONG LIVE THE QUEEN! I adored this story. It never occurred to me while reading the other books in this series that Queen Lenora should have her story told. I am so happy it did occur to Emma Chase.

This story was so good. It was funny, swooney, sexy, and even a little sad. Lenora was a bad a**! I loved her. And Edward was all the things a powerful woman (and all women are powerful btw) needs. He was a perfect prince.

As you can tell, I loved this book. It made me want to start the series over again. Happy reading!

5 'My Queen' Stars!
ARC provided by the author via Ink Slinger PR in exchange for an honest review.

My goodness! This series continues stealing my heart. Emma Chase has created an outstanding list of characters and all their stories are to die for. Imagine the happiness this girl felt, who absolutely adored the other three books, when Emma announced she was writing another Royally novel. Especially when she said it was about the one and only, Queen Lenora. Let me tell you, Lenora and Edward's love story was no exception to my adoration.

So, Royally Yours is the fourth installment in the Royally series and it is the story of how Princess Lenora Celeste Beatrice Arabella Pembrook became the first Queen of Wessco and fell in love with the love of her life, Edward Langdon Richard Dorian Rourke. This is the story of a single young woman that is expected to be married as soon as she becomes queen but she has her own mind and she is not afraid to express any of it. However, she meets Edward, the older brother of her best friend Thomas, and they bond after a very sad event. They share a connection and sparks fly strong between them and a beautiful and royal love story begins.

“Making a life with you will be my greatest adventure, Lenora.”

I do have to say, after loving this series so much, that these books are the best royal romances I've ever read. Emma Chase has written an exceptional series with a great list of characters that will stay forever in my heart. Obviously, Lenora and Edward did not fail me with their story. It was simply a delight to read Royally Yours. It was entertaining, emotional, swoon-worthy and definitely sexy. Lenny and Edward are such a strong and loving couple. They kick ass as royals and their chemistry is off the charts. I loved every second of their amazing love story.

I was made for this... for her. To cherish her, protect her and challenge her, to guide her and follow her—to be the man she needs, so she can be the woman, the queen, she was always meant to be.

And you know what makes me love a book so much? Having such a remarkable heroine. Lenora is the first Queen of Wessco and she does not let anyone stop her from applying the ideas she has on her mind. She kicks ass, she is strong as hell and she is determined. She wants to make change and improve the live of her people and no one will stop her. And you know what is even better? Edward is by her side every step of the way. Not stopping her, helping her and giving her his opinion about everything. They are an exceptional couple and they got their very much deserved happy ending.

“Mine and yours, forever and always.”

Therefore, of course, my rating for Royally Yours is 5 STARS because, again, Emma Chase gave us a magnificent love story with a strong couple, completely devoted to their country and also dedicated to loving each other to the fullest. Edward and his Queen Lenny got an amazing story because they are equally as amazing themselves. The book had everything I've loved about the whole series because it made me melt all over the place. Guys, if you are a fan of royal romances and you still haven't checked this series or this novel, do not waste anymore time. Go read it and fall in love with all these unique characters!
