Swifts were nominated alongside a host of other local clubs for the award, but were delighted to receive the trophy after being heavily praised for their growth as a club in terms of numbers playing football, and their success on and off the pitch over the past 3 years.
Club Vice Chairman Martyn Clements, Treasurer Martyn Walsh, and a number of other club volunteers were present to collect the award, as well as several of our current players from various age groups. Our thanks go to Ivan Clements, Joe Walsh, Sam Hurst, Jago Williams, Max Walsh and Leo Hughes who all represented Swifts at the ceremony.
The club would like to thank everyone involved with Swifts for their support over the last few years, and hope that this will continue well into the future, and that the club can go from strength to strength as it looks to pick up more awards of this type.
Our thanks also go to all volunteers at the club at any capacity, for getting the club back to where it deserves to be.
Congratulations also to the Men's side as well, who picked up the Over 18 Club of the year award.
