The STAR Symposium Planning Committee invites you to be part of this award-winning conference!
Submit your proposal to share your ideas for teaching and learning in face-to-face, blended and online courses. Do you have an innovative approach for engaging your students, managing your classroom, integrating best practices or collaborating for improvement? This is your opportunity to share the work you're doing at your institution, for your department and in your classroom!
The STAR Symposium is scheduled for February 8, 2019. It is a virtual conference that will focus on topics related to quality initiatives and best practices (teaching, design, faculty support, etc.) for face-to-face, blended, and online courses and/or programs. The conference planning committee is seeking proposals for presentations related to the following topics:
- Best Practices in Teaching and Learning
- Course Design and Delivery
- Grading, Assessment and Feedback
- Student Engagement
- Technology Integration
- Faculty Development and Support
- Other Teaching Innovations...

We are seeking both 50 minute and 25 minute presentations which will be offered concurrently. Individuals looking for information about the types of sessions offered last year are encouraged to review the STAR 2018 Conference Guide.

Presenters are expected to register for the conference and will be given a reduced presenter rate.
