About this event

The Vice President of Equity and Inclusion, Noelle Chaddock, invites the Bates Community to a Commons Conversation: "So You Want to Talk About Race" on October 11th 9:00 am - 11:00 am. As our nation and the global community attempt to navigate three concurrent global pandemics, we find that race, racial disparities and racial violence have intersected, producing a profound if not lethal impact on black, brown and indigenous communities and people. This is an opportunity for campus community members to spend time thinking and talking about what the impact looks like in our Bates Community, our local Lewiston/Auburn community, the nation and our global community.
