Some love stories start after I dos, and mine was certainly one of them.

I was a damsel in distress and Zane Teager was my knight dressed in a three piece suit, riding a Bugatti.

But he wasn’t saving me from some dragons or pirates but my own sick brain.

His offer was generous and beautiful, exactly like him.

We get married until my life was back to normal. Simple.

But nothing was simple in my grand wedding and the designer wedding dress.

Ours was possibly the only fake wedding where every custom was followed to the word...

including consummating the marriage.

Zane was a husband plucked out of dreams, determined to support me in...sickness and health.

And it was easy to forget that our marriage had a ticking clock.

Vienna came into my life by accident. Literally and figuratively.

When I was bringing her to the hospital, I didn’t know she’d be someday sleeping on my bed, demanding sex on our wedding night and so many more.

She was the yin to my yang. Noise to my silence. Light to my darkness.

But she was temporary.

I could never tie her to me...permanently.

The guilt of doing that to her would be bigger than any guilt I have. And I’ve many.

“I c-cannot effing do th-that to her.”

Vikki Jay has created another beautiful and heartfelt love story in Saving Vienna. Much as I thought he would be, Zane is definitely my favorite Teager brother, and Vienna is truly a perfect match for him. Jay brings a ton of feels to their story, playing beautifully off the fake relationship trope, but with a twist that will tug on every reader’s heartstrings.

The beauty of Zane and Vienna’s story is in the relationship itself. Jay has created two beautiful and vulnerable characters who complement each other in so many perfect ways from their pets to their personalities. Their journey together is not without angst or trepidation, but it is also brimming with passion and joy.

Readers of Jay’s prior books in The Teager Family series will delight in the runion with Zander and Rose, Zach and Hope, and the extended and found family they’ve gathered around them. Even though Saving Vienna is part of the series, and it can be read as a standalone, Zane is definitely best appreciated within the context of his family’s history.

This is a very emotional, romantic, swoony book. It's about Zane, a billionare with a stutter, and Vienna, a damsel in distress.

This book gave me all the feels. It's definitely a tearjerker but it's oh so romantic. I loved it.

This is my first book by Vikki Jay. After this one, I'm reading the rest of the series! I can't get enough. Five stars.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Speechless. Zane and Vienna story was absolutely breathtaking. So much adoration for one another. How much Zane cares for her for from the very beginning. How well Vienna fit with and his family. You can’t forget the rest of them because they made this story whole. Vikki Jay thanks so much for creating such an amazing world. I absolutely adored this whole series. And thanks for reaching out I’m so glad I’ve got to read this ARC. They will all whole a special place in my heart. 💜

Zach is the last Teager brother to get his happy ever after, but the best was definitely saved for last.

Zach goes to the same coffee shop every day to see Vienna, and has quite the crush on her. On one of those days Vienna has a medical emergency, and Zach takes her to the hospital and fills out her paperwork, putting himself down as her husband so that he can take care of the medical bill. When it turns out that Vienna will need even more treatments in the future, he offers to marry her so that she can use his insurance.

Their fake marriage is so full of chemistry and just amazingness, that this has quickly become my favorite book of the series. Zach is shy and has a stutter, which holds him back a lot in life. Vienna doesn't look at him with pity about his stutter, and instead treats him normally which he hasn't had a lot in his life. Vienna has her own insecurities, and is terrified of being alone while she seeks her medical treatment. The two of them make such an amazing couple, and watching them both fall in love is a treat! This was a fantastic end to a great series!

Thank you to Vikki Jay for providing me with an ARC of this book.

A 5 ⭐️ read!

This was my first book by Vikki Jay and I'm so glad I got the chance to be apart of her ARC team and read one of her books.

Saving Vienna was such an emotional, amazingly written love at first sight book. If you know me you know love at first sight and meant to be/soul mates are my jam! I quickly became obsessed with Zane just 2 chapters in!!

Zane, knew right away that Vienna was the one for him. Her excitement and positive light pushed through his dark interior and made him feel whole and wanted.

Vienna fell literally and emotionally for Zane right away. He's her knight in shinning armor. Her support, her warmth and her forever.

Now if only they can realize together, that what they feel for each other is a once in a lifetime type of love. They were made for each other! 💗

Thank you so much Vikki Jay for this ARC copy, in return for an honest review.

This is the fourth book in the Teager Family series and for me the most anticipating read of the series so far, I was inturgued with Zane from the get go. Vikki Jay did not dissapoint with this book, there wasn't a single aspect that I didnt like. I could not put this book down!!

Zane and Vienna were made for each other, they are the definition of soul mates. Zane holds the guilt of what happened to him and his brothers as children and Vienna is all alone in the world and doesn't want to be alone. They both commit to there fake marraige, for their own reasons. It may have started off as fake but the lines soon become blurry and real feelings are revealed.

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

I absolutely adore this family! Zane is such a sweetheart, dealing with a lot of internal judging and always being the quiet, shy one. I'm so glad we got to get his story and see who he really is when he decides to open up and fully express himself. He is such an amazing guy who every girl will read about and fall in love and want their own Zane, though there are not as many men out there like him.

And Vienna. She is such a fighter but also scared to no end. She had to watch her mom get sick and just that memory makes her terrified she will be living that life. I honestly don't blame her for just wanting to ignore her sickness and pretend that it wasn't happening, because I would be scared out of my mind too. Thankfully she had Zane there from step one and he was able to talk her into taking care of herself, no matter what the outcome was going to be.

This whole family - the Teagers and their spouses - have been through some hard times, but seeing them get their HEA is so heartwarming and uplifting. I love these books - Roses, though, is especially my favorite still though - and I can't wait to read more amazing books by Vikki Jay. I'm so glad I stumbled into her first book and discovered a rare gem, because now I'm reading her books ASAP whenever they become available, cause I just can't get enough!

Zane omg has been my favorite side character since Vikki introduced the Teager family. This book had so much emotion going through. This was a fake marriage that turns real. Vienna and Zane both have their insecurities in life. This is a must read series.

I loved every moment of reading this!
It was so well written and had me swooning constantly along with Vienna over Zane.

Zane is a quiet business man who has a stutter he feels very insecure and anxious about. Vienna is an outgoing barista who has a life threatening illness. These two opposites attract and decide on a marriage of convenience.

The characters are relatable, fun and felt realistic. I really enjoyed Vienna and Zane’s interactions (their first date was the cutest!) I also felt Zane’s stutter was well represented as well as Vienna’s illness.

A very enjoyable romantic, fun, and tearjerker read!

I really did like this book. It was a bit of a different kind of slow burn, and I did feel it dragged at the end, but I know I will remember this story for a long time. So, yes, I liked it a lot and recommend.

I have mixed feelings about this book. At the beginning, their love story was very promising, but at the end it felt kind of dull.
After thinking about it, I came to the conclusion that I hate it 🙂

In ‘Saving Vienna’ we read the story of the youngest Teager brother Zane and barista Vienna. One day Zane and Vienna meet at the café where Vienna’s works. Vienna needs help, and Zane is more than willing to help out. Even if that means marrying the girl he hardly knows. Their marriage was supposed to be temporary and just for the outside world. But soon Zane and Vienna find out there is much more between them than a fake marriage.

Vicky Jay has a way of writing that I really enjoy. Her characters are so fun and intriguing, and I love reading this book through both Zane and Vienna’s point of view. Both characters where really fun to get to know. Zane is this handsome, rich guy who on the outside seems all perfect and to good to be true. But the fun thing is, he is kind of perfect. Sure he has his flaws, but mostly he is this really kind guy who tries to help out the girl that took his breath away.

The chemistry between Zane and Vienna was amazing. I loved how easily they seemed to trust each other. Most times I find that kind of stuff hard to imagine, but for these characters it worked because they where just really ‘good’. It was also fun to read a bit about Zane’s brothers, because I already knew one of them by reading the previous book in this series. It definitely is okay to read this book as a standalone, but the fact that I already love one of the couples was nice.

The one thing I didn’t love as much was all the wedding planning that was supposedly pulled of in only a week or so. How on earth can you pull of a supposedly big wedding in such a short amount of time, and why didn’t anyone question their short ‘relationship’ a little more? And when the wedding was really happening, we didn’t read about it much. It wasn’t a bad thing that troubled me to much. But it was the one teeny tiny flaw I could find about this read.

‘Saving Vienna’ was a very fun, romantic read with some amazing characters. I definitely need to check the first two books in this series as well.

Saving Vienna is Zach Teager’s story in the Teager Family interconnected standalone series. Although, book can be read as a stand-alone, I would recommend reading books in order because you will get the full scope of the story and so much more enjoyment. If you want a low angst, high on feels, romance that will have you loving on the characters and rooting for their HEA. Vikki’s characters are complex, yet there is a lightness to her writing style that has you in the moment with the characters, invested in their stories, affected by their pasts and seeing the bright light of happiness coming their way. Zach has a boyishness about him that endears him to you. Vienna is just this side of outspoken that cracks thru his shell. It’s been so sweet watching this family find happiness, love and rebuild.

Zach Teager is not your average romance hero. Which makes him that more special. Newly relocated from St. Peppers to Cherrywood he finds himself visiting the cafe by the company.

Vienna finds herself intrigued by the handsome stranger who comes in each day. And, when he becomes her knight in shining armor - it is sweetness overload.

But, when a possible diagnosis brings up past damage for Vienna, Zach steps in with a possible solution. One that would ensure Vienna wouldn’t be alone on her journey and medically taken care of.

Vienna finally finds a family that goes above and beyond for one another, her included, and very slowly lines are blurred in her and Zane’s relationship. Slowly, they build upon their foundation. But, that foundation is built on a lie that can make or break them.

Vikki Jay's Saving Vienna is the fourth interconnected standalone in The Teager Family series, following doctor Zane Teager and café barista Vienna.

I was a little hesitant when I first started this book because it begins with the main characters meeting and pretending to be a married couple. Because of that beginning, I expected the book to be fast-paced, making the plot confusing, but I was mistaken. Despite the beginning, I thought the plot and the characters forming a friendly relationship were fantastic and did not feel rushed or forced.

However, I would have preferred more backstory between the main characters, such as how they first met or when the hero first ordered Vienna's coffee from the menu, and so on.

There's also the fact that I enjoyed reading about a cinnamon roll hero with no experience with relationships or love. I felt like I was learning more and more about our Hero as I read, like how he was the inexperienced one rather than the Heroine, or how he would stutter because he had problems growing up. Basically, the entire time I was reading this, I was thinking, "This is too cute!"

Overall, I was swooning left and right while reading this book since everything about it was wonderful and adorable, including the characters, their families, their pets, and so on. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys Devney Perry's writing and small-town stories!

This book was so cute, I adored Zane and Vienna. After a fall Vienna ends up in hospital and Zane being the kindhearted man he is takes her and makes sure she is safe but his stutter means he struggles with speaking in public so when the nurse assumes that he is her husband he says nothing and nods which creates a knock on effect when Vienna’s health takes a turn for the worse the lie gets out of hand and they have to get married to ensure Vienna can be looked after as without health insurance she will struggle to pay for the care she desperately needs.

Zane has to be one of the cutest male leads I’ve ever read, he has no idea how incredibly intelligent and needed he is in the family business he lets his stutter take front and centre in his life stopping him doing things that ultimately he can do. He can’t bare the thought of someone hurting and will do whatever it takes to ease their pain, the way he looks after Vi I was smiling throughout he is a true gentleman and prince in disguise.

Vi is just what Zane needed to bring him out of himself, she is funny, sassy and a little fiery and when her world is turned completely upside down she fights back desperate not to be alone she makes the deal to marry Zane but after months of flirty moments they both have already fallen but it is a deal and nothing about their marriage is real except the marriage licence at least that’s what they are telling themselves.

Another amazing book from this series by Vikky and the ending what a way to make me scream for more. If you love cute small town romances with added spice these books are definitely for you.

This is the first book I have read by Vikki. I really enjoyed it. This is the fourth book in the series. They can be read as standalone books. I haven’t read the others and wasn’t confused at all. Vienna is a barista at a local coffee house. That is where Zane met her. There is just something about her. Then one day she gets hurt and he takes her to the hospital and says she is his wife so that they will tell him things. This begins their journey. Zane is called by the hospital when Vienna is brought in by someone else. Something is wrong with Vienna. Her mother died of brain cancer and she worries the something is going to happen to her. Zane can’t stand the sadness he sees in her. He can help. They can get married to that she will have insurance and someone there for her. But they both feel so much more for the other. I do wish they would have communicated more with each other. They agree to get married but now they don’t really know where they stand with each other. They are doing all the things you would in a real marriage but neither is sure if its just because or if the other person really feels that way. These characters are wonderful. Both help each other is ways they couldn’t have imagined. Zane’s brothers are there for him even when they might not agree with what he is doing. These brothers have been through so much. After reading this I can’t wait to read the other books in the series. Wonderful job Vikki.

Author: Vikki Jay
Number of pages: 304
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

POV: Dual, first person
Main Characters: Vienna & Zane
Genre: Contemporary romance
Tropes: small town; marriage of convenience; virgin hero

Review:

This book has everything you want to read when choosing a sweet small town romance: a sassy heroine, a perfect hero (I swear Vikki chose carefully all wonderful traits and gave Zane them), cute dogs, a loving family, energetic kids, a trip to a magical place, a little angsty, some humor…

That being said, the whole situation that brought the main couple together sounded a little forced to me. Even unconsciously, Vienna imposed herself and a really difficult situation on Zane. It would sound easier if it was a second-chance, or maybe if they were childhood sweethearts, but how it was presented here, it was a heavy weight to put on a virtual strange person…

All in all, the book was cute and sweet, a good option for the lovers of small town romances.

Zane Teager has held a special place in my heart since we first met him in this series, and I knew his story would be one that would be full of so many emotions and it was. Zane is the glue that holds his family together because he is so compassionate, caring, and understanding, but above all that he loves hard. When Zane meets Vienna, he is instantly attracted to her, but his insecurities always keep him at arm’s length until fate steps in and he saves the day. Vienna knows that the guy who comes in and orders her coffee she created every day is something special, but when he swoops in and saves the dy may times over she knows he has a heart of pure gold. The story of these two beautiful souls who need each other and help each other is perfection, but it comes with some heartache and trials. Zane feels so guilty and unworthy a lot of times that when he can be the man Vienna needs it feels him full of pure happiness, but will she want this to be real or will they walk away with hearts full of pain? The emotions are real that as you read you can feel the happy times and hurt during the hard times, but everyone is worth it in the end. Zane Teager is an amazing and flawed man who loves hard and deserves all the happiness in the world, I loved him!!!

Saving Vienna Arc Review

Saving Vienna is the fourth installment in the Teager Family series and follows the story of the younger (and sweetest) brother, Zane. This is a marriage of convenience/friends to lovers/damsel in distress trope. With speech disability representation and a super sweet virgin MMC.

Basically Vienna, our main girl, literally falls into Zane’s arms and after he helps her get medical attention they begin a friendship. Things get going when Vienna finds herself in a financial spot with her medical bills, so to help her get insurance Zane proposes a marriage of convenience. And of course, they didn’t expect to fall for each other.

What I like the most about this novel is it’s main characters. Vienna is a very easy to like heroine. She is brave in the face of calamity, funny and positive. I love that she always sees the very best in everything. Zane, is the single sweetest guy out there. I was completely in live with his personality and his caring side. And I have to say I was not ready for how dang sexy he could be. His older brothers have nothing on him.

It was amazing to revisit Cherrywood and to get to see the characters I fell in love with in the previous books again. And, as always, Vikki’s writing style was like a balm to the soul.

Saving Vienna is the 4th book in The Teager Family series about youngest brother Zane and Vienna. When Zane brings Vienna to the hospital after he found her unconscious, he is mistaken for her husband and doesn’t correct the staff. Knowing that Vienna is struggling financially and being alone, Zane proposes they get married so she can be on his insurance and he can be with her through her treatment. What starts out as a marriage of convenience turns into so much more for Zane but is it the same for Vienna? Did Zane put his heart on the line only to be left alone?

Zane is a sweetheart, a man of few words but with big actions. Proposing marriage to Vienna might have been completely unorthodox for Zane but everything about Vienna eased his fears and worries and opened his heart. Vienna thought she would be alone forever until Zane walked into the cafe randomly one day and changed her life path completely without her even knowing. The bond between Zane and Vienna is sweet and rooted in acceptance, understanding and friendship which gives them a steamy more meaningful connection.

Now that all three of the Teager brothers are in love and have their families, it’s only fair that the unofficial fourth brother, Zane’s best friend Lukas, gets his shot at a happily ever after and I can’t wait to learn more about Lukas and his connection to the Teagers.

Saving Vienna by Vikki Jay is the 4th book in the Teager Family series and this one did not disappoint in the least!

Their story is so beautifully told and evokes so much emotion. You are transported to a world where people cared about one another and family meant everything.

Each Teager brother comes from a painful past. Each with their own struggles but through it all, Zander, Zach and Zane pushed through it together. Their love for each other is strong and inspiring.

Zane is shy, smart, compassionate, kind and loyal. He has an endearing quality that draws you in and takes hold of you.

Vienna is strong, determined and independent but also has insecurities and fears that make her vulnerable and fragile. Her ailment serendipitously brings Zane and Vienna together.

Saving Vienna by Vikki Jay is a classic romance that will tug at your heartstrings and warm the heart and the soul. You're in for a treat!

Book four in the Teager Family Series and oh my word, Zane Teagan is everything I was hoping him to be and then some!
Zane meets Vienna at the coffee shop near work. She’s the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen and for some reason she doesn’t mind his stuttering. They cross couple of words here and there but what really kicks off their relationship is when Zane takes Vienna to the hospital after she faints and he says she’s his wife. Their fake relationship develops so naturally, you’d think there’s nothing fake about it. They meet his family, even go on a date and Zane becomes Vienna’s rock. In the process they find the most pure and absolutely consuming love.
This is a tale of love, friendship, lust and trust between two beautiful souls. I honestly cannot think of a better story for Zane, thank you Vikki for gifting us with this gem.
If you love love and cinnamon roll alpha heroes, this one is for you!

This book! I went into this thinking it was going to be a cute small-town romance. I got that and so much more!

Small Town? Check
Family Saga? Check
Marriage of Convenience? Check
Heartbreaking Scenes? Check, Check, Check

I absolutely loved this book but there were scenes that just broke my heart! Zane just stole my heart from thievery beginning! Offering Vienna to marry him so she can have Health Insurance and all he wants is to have her? He was smitten from the very start!

Vienna is in major need of health insurance after ending up in hospital twice. Zane took her in the first time and then got called the second time. Once she finds out the reason for what's happening, she feels like she won’t be able to afford treatment until Zane offers to marry her so she can use his.

I love these two together, especially them discovering their feelings for each other. I need more of them! They were perfect together.

The scenes towards the end where he tells her he wants a divorce broke me, along with a number of other scenes. I just wanted them to be happy together, and thankfully, this is a HEA.

I love the protectiveness of Zane’s brother, first over Zane but later on over Vienna when Zane lets her believe he wants a divorce.

I can’t wait for the next book, it’s definitely gonna be a good one from what we already know!

This book has all the feels. So yes, this can be a stand alone BUT, it’s not as impactful if you don’t know all the deep information on the other siblings. While most of the other books have action/shocking events that get you, this one literally pulls on your heart strings the whole time. Zane, while on the outside looks like a strong, independent businessman, is deeply insecure about his past and traumatized from it. Which is a refreshing that it’s not just our FMC that have deep insecurities holding them back. Vienna is very sick, needs health insurance (still the thought of going to a hospital and having to pay for everything is a foreign concept to me) and they know marriage will fix that. They both go on this journey of not know if she will live, will they/won’t they fall in love, and then truly, as individuals, having to find peace in their own journeys. Neither one seems to ever use the other’s insecurities against them but rather encourage each other to explore them. This is an emotional rollercoaster where you just want them to work out so badly.

Zane is the last brother from the "Teager Family and his book was an emotional for me.

His stuttering was making him shy around the others, but Vienna didn't cared about that. She liked him even soo. And the feelings were mutual.
Adding the fake marriage was making the situation even better and easier for them to fall more and more in love with each other.

Both of them struggled with their lives. Because of that they deserved to have their happy ending. And Vikki Jay gave us that.

Special thanks to Vikki Jay for providing me with this ARC copy and giving me that chance to read Zane and Vienna's story.

Zane is definitely hero material. He is compassionate, kind, dedicated to his job and helping others. Which is why he steps up to help Vienna when she needs medical care after injuring her wrist. He has been frequenting the coffee shop where she works as a barista just to see her and her smile. He doesn’t correct the nurse at the hospital when she thinks they are married because he pays for Vienna’s medical care after learning that she has no medical insurance. Vienna’s gratitude is expected, but not her seeming acceptance of his speech impediment. She doesn’t shy away from him, ask inane questions or mock him like strangers often do. Another incident soon leads to the discovery that Vienna is in need of extensive medical care and Zane suggests that they marry so that she will have medical insurance. She agrees to his suggestion, though not just for the insurance. She doesn’t want to face her health problems and treatment alone, and unfortunately she no longer has any family. Both agree that the reason for their marriage should be their secret and everyone else including family, friends and colleagues should think they are in love. “Oh what tangled webs we weave” certainly applies in this case. Neither expected the passion between them, the soul-deep connection or the love that has sparked within them both. But does it mean a happily ever after is in their future? What happens when their secret is revealed? Will they admit their feelings to each other? Will they fight for their love?

It was so easy to fall in love with both Zane and Vienna. Their story is emotional, incredibly sweet and wonderfully engaging. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

These Teager Brothers are amazing! Each of them are pretty perfect in their own way. This time is Zane turn and I’m so excited for finally read his story. He and Vienna are so sweet, and romantic, and the chemistry is amazing. I love everything in this book, tears were necessary at some point, the laughing was inevitable, mostly with Zach and Zander. Vienna is everything Zane needs to feel finally worthy and loved. Their love story is definitely beautiful. Fall in love with them reading this book makes want more of them. Hope we get more of The Teager Family soon. Alex and Ray are amazing boys, I love them, can’t wait for their future. And Luke, oh boy, Luke, I need Luke book soon.

Another hit by Vikki Jay! She is really making a splash in the Indie Writer's World! I will be honest, I have been chomping at the bit for Zane's story! I like the other brothers, but I was really looking forward to where she would go with Zane!

Vienna and Zane have amazing chemistry and are constantly trying to figure out how to make the situation work! Sprinkle in the other characters we have met along the way and this book is a hit! There is humor, seriousness, steam, and a fantastic ending that may not actually be the ending of the series?!?! Can't wait to see what Ms. Jay does with it! I would definitely recommend reading in order to understand the dynamics of the siblings. @theoriginalmrsp

Another absolutely heartachingly gorgeous romance in the Teager Family series. This is the turn of the youngest brother Zane. He has the biggest heart but carries a huge burden of guilt for the abuse suffered by his brothers. Zane is just a perfectly adorable book boyfriend with his hesitance and consideration. He has never had a girlfriend or even kissed a girl before so everything is new and unexplored. I adored his journey and the natural ease he feels when in Vienna's company.

This is a marriage of convenience style story with Zane offering to assist Vienna when she is in need of medical insurance. Zane is offering her so much more than just the health cover but he needs to accept his emotions and realise this for himself. It is quite an emotional rollercoaster he goes on. But his support and loyalty to Vienna is unwavering.

I adored the bonds of family that exist between the brothers and the ease with which the love is extended to Vienna. She is a beautiful soul deserving of the warmth of the Teagers. This is a gorgeously told romance focused on a marriage of convenience and a beautiful bond that forms as a result.
